In todays episode when mita was talking about so called indian woman. I agree with what she says.also agreed that it was not only your responsibility but ashok too is equally responsible. But a question to you mita. If you are not that so called indian woman what did you do in front of beeji few episodes back talking about sindoor and mangal sutra. Abt so called UK woman also will not stay with a married man for so long without him divorcing his wife. So i want to say that before you are preaching indian woman you too should practice what you preach. And why dont your so called indian mahapurush boyfriend stop interfering in babes life and give her gyan about her character. Why dont you stop him from acting like an MCP.
My heart burns when i see so called indian aunties talking nonsense behind other woman. Many a times i have objected to their nonsense talks. But mentality of such women cannot be changed.🤢

Bang on 👏 Even though Meeta was right Ashok and she both are equally responsible. lamenting about stupid mindset of Indian women on sindoor and Mangalsutra.. What is it compatibility and love . In arranged marriage it's commitment and understanding comes first. Lovely husband was Bang on and told that the same mangasutra and sindoor he will put on her 😕

Most UK born Indian women, myself included, won't place any importance on either a mangalsutra or sindoor or the phera except as part of Hindu traditions. We also view marriage as fluid. To most of us the wedding ring is important and it can be taken off and thrown back in someone's face if they cheat on you.

I agree there's no way most UK born women would stick with a married man from India for so long. Most don't even date men from India precisely because of the perceived stifling / suffocation that would occur if they ever went to India. When I married a guy from India the one thing that shocked me was how easy going most people were: bollywood doesn't really prepare you for that!

But I don't think she's UK born. I get the feeling that like Ashok she is an NRI who has lived abroad for a long time and so probably has very complicated feelings about mangalsutras / sindoor / marriage. I also think she is used to fighting for her relationship alone and has probably lost a lot of friends and family because of the affair. You can tell that she wants and needs a family even more than Babita but isn't capable yet of building one.

I think he knew that couples have to be living seperately for 1 year to file for mutual consent divorce, but he's not a lawyer. Only the lawyer knows that in the courts that often isn't enough and judges can ask about sex life too. 😆

HS might know but the he thought the divorce is mutal so doesnt need the sexual relationship, also he is Laala relative expected he would understand babes situation not embaress her particularly in his house.

Do mutual divorce also require to disclosure your sexual relationship????

You need to be living apart for 1 year at least. Ordinarily this would assume no sex, but sometimes you'll get a family value' judge who will ask questions and throw up spanners. In addition to everything you sometimes even have a 6-12 month cooling off period (how well this is enforced depends on where you are).
