Another Hollywood movie is ready to get a Hindi adaptation. The film in question is 2013's musical-comedy drama, Begin Again. It had Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley in lead roles along with singer-actor, Adam Levine in a pivotal character. T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar took to Twitter to make the big announcement. But there's no word on who will be reprising the memorable roles of Gretta (Ruffalo) and Dan (Knightley). So, we decided to help with the casting. The first pair that comes to our mind is King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kriti Sanon. The role of a struggling record-label executive, Dan is tailor-made for SRK.

Begin Again Remake: Shah Rukh Khan-Kriti Sanon, Aamir Khan-Alia Bhatt & Other Pairs Who Can Reprise Mark Ruffalo & Keira Knightley's Roles From Hollywood Movie

If you have seen Begin Again, you know the demeanour required to pull off the role Dan Mulligan. He was a former successful music producer who is estranged from his wife and not close to his daughter. Dan is struggling to keep up to the changing music industry, till he puts his energy in developing Gretta's singing career. This role was fantastically portrayed by Avengers star Mark Ruffalo. And there's no one other than Shah Rukh Khan to do justice to this role. We have seen him play a disgruntled lost star turned mentor in Chak De! India and he seems like a perfect choice to be a desi Dan.

Coming to Keira Knightley's songwriter role of Gretta James, Begin Again marked British actress's first singing role. She is a purist, who does not believe in altering the traditional style to match with changing ways. For Gretta's part, Kriti Sanon is our first choice. The 28-year-old has shown her acting chops in Bareilly Ki Barfi, and she would be a perfect Gretta to SRK's Dan. In fact, Shah Rukh and Kriti Sanon have worked together previously in Rohit Shetty's 2015 film, Dilwale and it's time they share the screen again.

Few more pairs could work wonders in Begin Again remake, which will be helmed by the Veere Di Wedding director Shashanka Ghosh. Let's look at them.

Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt

R Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh

Akshay Kumar and Shraddha Kapoor

So, these are some of the pairs that we feel will work best in roles of Dan and Gretta. Meanwhile, the scripting for the Begin AgainHindi adaptation is presently underway with Arshad Syed as the writer. "We want to tell a story about the world of music and fresh voices in sound on the Indian scene. And through that, a take on urban relationships that don't necessarily mean love and marriage and happily ever after," Ghosh said in a statement. We would love to see Shah Rukh Khan and Kriti Sanon in a platonic relationship, listening to music and cycle around the city. And they should rope in Arjun Kapoor to play Gretta's ex-boyfriend and a successful musician, Dave Kohl (Adam Levine).
