Who was bigger during their blockbuster run? SRK then or Salman now?? SRK dominated bollywood from 1995 till 2008 and then suffered a lean phase until Chennai Express and has since regressed

Salman has been having the best years of his life since 2009

Who had a better phase or was a bigger superstar during their respective and current box office run( Salman)

I would say Salman cause I think few of his really stupid movies have also done well...

But i dont understand the box office thing that well... so cant judge on that basis

Unfortunately the only way to measure stardom is making horrible movies and making crs with it.. salman post 2010.. made far worse movies than SRK during 90s or early 2000s.

Salman no doubt about it. He has made horrible movies which worked plus his acting in almost all of them were pathetic.

People who are saying that Salman made crap movies work, so he was the bigger Superstar either don't know or are forgetting that until 2005, crap movies(i.e, movies rejected by audience) never made money, as until that time, movies had to run for weeks to be declared a Hit. But since the multiplex era, fate of a movie depends on it's opening and weekend collections. That's why star power, hype, festival dates and trailer response has became very important nowadays, but it didn't matter until the last decade.

So if some of Salman's crap movies have made money, that's because the maximum collections came on the weekend itself. That didn't use to happen when SRK was at his peak, because box office didn't use to work like that during that time.

Slman megastar khan. Race3 got the worst reviews and still managed to collect 170cr where as movies of some actors with best wom struggle to cross 100cr mark. Despite -ve wom for his movie he was still at no 4 for highest grossing movie at bo in 2018. He has 5 350cr+ grosser movies globally where as srk has 2 and amir has 3. No one can come close to him in terms of superstardom that he enjoys.
