Different Perspective -Mohini represents certain set of Indian parents

In India, there are certain set of parents who wish their childrens to take career route in certain direction (Engineering,Doctor,etc) and they believe that they are right ignoring whatever the kids want. And they blindly believe that their choices will help in their kids future...

...but no one hates someone because of their class, do they? 😕

Plus Mohini has been doing all this to satisfy her ego and pride only. She doesn't even bother discussing such matters with her husband!

I am not Indian, but the qualities you mentioned about some parents is true, it happens in Pakistan also. But I guess the thing we are dealing with is slightly different than what you mentioned.

Income, Salary , Good Job, etc are very important criteria's for Indian parents.. Groom hunt does has certain checklists too

And Arranged weddings are done mainly with people of similar class,etc
