I have recently started posting again on India-forums, I have had to start anew as a newbie as I have lost my old credentials. But, with a busy schedule I could never find the time to write.
I have not followed the show since it's inception. There was something lacking I think. I cannot pinpoint what though. However, one episode I saw Krishna stand up for what she felt was right. I think it was when Lalli was getting beaten up by Gajanan and despite that Krishna held no value in the house, she fought for the right. Since that episode I think I like the character of Krishna. Also, since the actress playing the character is beautiful and pretty, as well as has a beautiful tone to her voice I was drawn to admire her character. So, I started watching the show and I liked the build up. Somewhere I had always felt this show was another Diya Aur Bati Hum in disguise in many ways; uneducated family who were against women stepping outside of their household to make a difference to the world. I always though Radhe would be the one to take her to London and he did. I have really enjoyed the build up the show - it has done it really well and I would say it did it at a good pace, rather than speeding it or taking it too slow. Krishna won every heart and was sent to London with everyone's consent. Where Krishna faced more struggles, but did not decide to step back from achieving her goals. In short, I am fond of Krishna's courage. But, now she faces a new situation where she has lost her husband and is now a widow and will soon be ousted from her in-laws because they blame her for Radhey's death. It's disheartening to see the people who loved her so dearly change their perspective on her suddenly. However, Krishna has always found the courage to face every phase - will she manage to do the same now? Or will she slip into depression and her dream of becoming a doctor will come to a halt? Clearly, Krishna could not be a doctor because she got sidetracked by her husband's death. This is not surprising since achieving our dreams do not come easy.
Do you think the story will move forward in such a way that it will be Veer who will train her to become the doctor? Do you think he will take her back to London again to be that doctor she is capable of becoming? Will his mother and he feel guilty? Of running away from the incident and the mother cursing her, taking away her happiness?
I am really sad that Radhe is out of the picture now because he and Krishna did make a really cute couple and I was fond of them. But, it has always be the life of Krishna and her struggles and how she faces them glues me to the screen. Krishna is the important character for me here, so I think I can deal with Radhe's death here. I just don't want the creatives to turn Krishna into a sobbing and constantly weeping Krishna here - I mean a week of crying is okay, but I want her to wipe her tears and make a new beginning. After all, Aanth Hi Aarmbh Hai.
Please, please, creatives showcase Krishna to deal with her situation as a widow in a way that it does not posit a life of a woman is any less important without her husband.
Kind Regards
