Now what I want to happen is completely different -

I want some cute scenes of jealous prerna ..all in the basu house ..Mishka trying to cosy up with Anu and P getting all jealous and excusing herself from there and then shedding a tear ..Anu coming and putting his hand out and holding that tear ..and then P getting miffed and acting aloof - and Anu realizes she's jealous (oh come on, he realized it at all unwanted times and now when it's the real deal - we don't get to see Anu pacify a jealous P!) ..

I want him to explain himself to her as if she's his gf ..and then he'll realize what he's doing and say .."why am I explaining this to you like u are my girl friend ...you find me boring ..you will never become my GF ..blah blah .." ..and then Prerna says .."Like you'll take me as your GF ..you think i'm stupid, and senseless ..you always say that ..you even told Sid that .." ..And then Anu again pacifies her and says .."No, I didn't mean it that way ..he kept telling me that I love you ..and I made up reasons ..i'm the stupid one ..not you" ..and then Prerna says "So, you'd be OK with me as a GF.." and Anu asks her .."would you be OK with me as your BF.." ..and then they get closer ..and their hearts beat faster ..and they get closer and can't control their desire anymore and lip lock ..and then Moloy and Anupam walk in ..and they are happy for Anu-Pre and they decide to make it happen .. and then the story is all fun ..Anu tells Mishka he is focused on his studies now and doesn't have time for her ..and that they can be friends but he cannot think of her in the way she wants him to ..and whatever fuss she creates, pre helps Anu in dealing with it ..and we get anu-pre dates ..Moloy sends them on office trips ..and lots of anu-pre!!

After reading all your thoughts, this is what I think.

Anurag will not tell mishka about prerna.

He will refuse to marry mishka and Komolika will becomes convinced it will be because he is attracted to her.

We will get a entire track about anurag trying to expose the political rally issue.

Simultaneously with the Ronit Shivani track during which Komolika will defeat prerna. (Thanks writers, not!)

During all this the relationship between anurag and prerna will develop and become strong.

As we get to the climax of the political writing track Komolika will get a way to destroy Moloy and anurag and everything they worked for. And that is when prerna will sacrifice anurag. It won't be for Shivani. It will be for something anurag hold close to his heart - his truth, his wajood.

Bajaj could come in as a rival newspaper owner. Maybe prerna will go to work for him.

If we are lucky prerna and anurag will still not marry a Bajaj or Komolika. Even if they don't end up together.
