Who is currently at a better position?

Varun managed to strike a balance between commercial and not-so-commercial movies. He did October, along with Sui Dhaaga: Made In India and Judwaa 2. Ayushman hs had 2 superhits in Badhai Ho and Andhahdun, but will he be able to strike a balance like Varun has?

(For me Varun is at no. 3 position behind Ranbir and Ranveer.)

Ayushmann is not even a star. Andhadhun and Badhai Ho worked because of WOM.

Varun definitely is a bigger star. He has mass connect which Ayushman lacks despite few successful movies.

Ayushman isn't even a star, he has no starpower.

His name don't bring people into the theaters.

Badhaai Ho & Andhadhun were hits because of content, not because of his starpower. Replace him with any actor, & they still would've been hits.
