Sahi kaha aapne! He saved himself from more emotional blackmail and potentially a gaudy mask..He knows he can't win against Guddan and his mom during this party so he might as well just grit his teeth and bear it.

He's just trying to be Uncle Scrooge but it's not working because a part of him is curious to see what Guddan does next in terms of her plan but also wants to be there as a backup because he is sure Guddan will mess things up again, especially after seeing her over-confidence. 😆

Plus, he's just drawn to her anyway. He doesn't want to dance or participate actively but her energy is infectious and he wants to be around her instead of sulking in his room. Of course, he will never admit or acknowledge this so he behaves as if he is doing Guddan a favor by showing up. Sometimes he behaves like a 5-year-old. 😆
