Do you guys think that Deepika 's stardom cannot be matched by any of her contemporaries? She seems to be at the top, with no competitor in sight in terms of stardom. The buzz for alia is considerably lower, probably because of a combination of factors. Does ANYONE at all match her stardom? Let's look at her contemporaries:

1. Kangana - hasn't been in the comp. for years

2. Alia- delivered Raazi but does not have deepu's superstar brand status

3. Katrina - has limited acting skills and slipped over the years

4. Anushka - tries too hard, but ends up with more flops than hits

5. Sonam/Shraddha - have delivered hits but limited acting abilities

6. Sonakshi/Parineeti - haven't delivered a hit in ages...

7. Kareena/Priyanka - age is catching up, the latter has moved to Hollywood

So, which actress can compete with Deepika???

Alia is just a night below and can compete especially with 3 big films this year.

Deepika has the Meghna one right ??? When's that releasing ???

Lol what's the point of this "brand status" and all, janta remembers their movies only. Right now everyone is going gaga about Sara. Even Disha Patani had a lot of hype at one point, but she is just not getting signed in movies weirdly.. she could have been the next DP 😭

The next 2 years will decide if Deepika is one of the biggest superstars ever.

She says she took a break last year.She also has said quote-I am looking forward to doing many films this year.

Deepika is the 3 highest paid BW actor..and she is much junior to the top 2.

She is also the most valuable brand.

Deepika slowly unwinds her long legs with stilleto heels

Watch out for her.

Let us see which director,which hero,which production house gets lucky with a big budget blockbuster film featuring her.

That's like comparing cheese and chalk. Deepika has always been known more as an ACTRESS than a LOOKER, even when her films were flopping left, right, and center. Disha Patani is just adored for her looks and figure and social media stauses.

As for Sara, she has potential but it's far too early to say, when people are even shying of terming Alia as competitor.

It's easy to bash Disha for being a looker only but when has she been given an opportunity to act really.. if she had gotten a role in something like YJHD or 2 States, she would have been able to prove her acting chops but it's hard to impress in eye-candy stuff. I have no idea what she is capable of but just what I have seen of her in ads and all, she has spark and screen presence plenty.

Forget Disha, take someone like Yami Gautam, she is uber-gorgeous and a decent actress, but without the right roles or backing, where is she? Didn't even make it in your list, but in an earlier time, she could have made it among the top BW actresses.

Disha was love in MS Dhoni.
Better debut than Alia in SOTY or Jhanvi in Dhadak.
