Jaya and Veer were by the poolside having coffee after dinner.

"But why ? Jaya questioned.

They were discussing Jaya's upcoming visit to Texas where Jaya's eldest and Veer's only sister Prerna resided with her family. Having 17 years of age gap between them, Prerna practically raised him when their mother was away on business trips.

Jaya was looking forward to this two-week trips along with Piyu. Her daughter did marry well, to Rishabh Bajaj one the most influenced tycoon of the decade. They had one daughter Sneha. It was a yearly ritual for Jaya to visit them and unwind from the hectic schedule.

She really loved all her three children. Prerna & Manoj who were twins just 10 min apart making Prerna the eldest. She had them at the age of 22. Veer was a late surprise.

He was the apple of her eye. With Manoj's drinking and gambling habits and lack business acumen. She still was overlooking Singh empire which was saved because of Veer's sacrifice from bankruptcy.

He was going to an heir of Singh family in a true sense. Because she didn't have any hopes Manoj's twins Gia and Ria to do anything to take forward Singh legacy in the business world.

"Mom I want piyu to stay with Prerna Di for few months.So much has happened in the past month. I want her to have some stability with Prerna Di, Mr. Bajaj and Sneha. You know they love her

"Fine Veer.Jaisa tum thik samjho.

Under the pretense of getting some air and gazing at the moon, Ananya stealing glances and absorbing sight of veer in the moonlight.

Its been a month since Piyu's accidental overdose and the whole debacle.

It seems like yesterday she and veer shared a cup of hot chocolate. It was sweet memory she cherished.

She could count on the fingers of one hand, the number of times she spoke to Veer in these past weeks.

They had fallen into a routine. Veer had made sure that Mrs. D’souza stayed with her.

For the first two weeks, after Veer asked Ananya to be his friend, she was ecstatic.

He always joined her at the breakfast table or spoke to her after dinner asking about her day.

Her daily routine hardly changed in these past weeks. With Mrs. Dsouza being reinstated in Singh

Household as Ananya’s caretaker, she made sure everything ran smoothly. Breakfast in the morning, spending some time in the garden, maybe read a book and she was at a steady pace to gain her strength. Week 3, veer had to go away for work. He was back this evening only but he didn’t seek her that’s why she was at the balcony hoping to catch a glimpse of him and spend some time with him. But he seemed busy with his mother.

If she didn’t return to bed, Mrs. D. would get worried, as she always to checked on Ananya before going to bed herself.

Naintara needed to change her strategy. She knew,getting Ananya back won’t be a cake walk.

Her dimwit offspring, Sasha, was filing her nails and Mukul’s face, now healed with all the attention he got from Veer, was donning a pissed off expression. The idiot thought that she would just pull some tricks up her sleeves and everything will be back to normal. But little did he knew they needed to be patient. Because Naintara didn’t want the crumbs of Khurana Empire. She wanted the cake, the icing along with cherry on top.

Prerna was livid. She marched towards the study which her mother, Jaya was using as her temporary office.She could hear piyu’s laughter across the drawing room, who was engaged in a ticklefight with as her teenage daughter Sneha.

Pushing the door ajar, she still had a sense of not to bang it off its hinges and make a loud noise. Mid-call, Jaya eyed her inflamed daughter and with all the expected pleasantries bid the caller adieu and hung up. Locking the door , Prerna was leaning over the desk and was in her mother’s face.

“Maa, kya veer ki Shaadi ho gayi ?”. (Veer Got married?)

Sighing Jaya said “kisne bataya tumhe”(who told you?)

Prerna,now irate, “kisne bataya ! yeh aapko janana hai ? Pehle mujhe bataye bina,shaadi kaise hone di aapne mere bete…” (Who told me!. This your concern about that.First tell, how did you let the marriage of my son...)

Jaya “…Tumhare bhai ki” (...Your Brother's)

Gritting her teeth “Maa,Veer ki zindagi aapka business nahi ,kay aap usse khilwad kare…” (Mother, Veer's life isn't your business, to manipulate)

Jaya “pehle tum baitho and calm down, Then we will talk.”

Decreeing this statement Jaya left the study.

Prerna didn’t move, her knuckles were white due to the death grip on the table.Finally, she collapsed on the chair and gave a soundless cry.

Just wanted to share.

Started this FF when it was rumored/confirmed RT MC will be together in colors. But things didn't pan out.

Now both are married.

Both in Ekta's/Balaji camp.

Hopefully, Humara sapna sach ho jaye and we get to our couple together onscreen.

Maybe Nachbaliye mein they can come with their respective partners.

Its Funny that in my FF's I always have RT - MC as a couple and their friends as Vikrant Massey and Sriti Jha (Coz I like them since Dhoom Machao Dhoom on Disney channel).

Now Sriti n Mugs playing mother-daughter though they are just one year apart.🤣

Though no complaints as no one ages in EK's show.
