Seems like there is much more than just Akarsh proposing to Jhanvi in school and she rejecting his proposal.
Today, the way she reacted seemed like there is much more to their story which is yet to be shown. It looked like she also has some liking towards Akarsh but for some reason thinks that Akarsh doesn't like her but just want to have her because he is rich and she thinks he is a player who just says something like what he said yo her to the other girls too.

I find them both so real. They both are helpful and caring and nice but they also know when they don't have to be nice.
Akarsh is not angry young man who gets angry at everything and neither way too sweet which looks like bechara. His character looks real. He gets angry when he has to and is nice otherwise.
Same with Jhanvi. She is strong headed and caring towards others but not in a way where she lets other use her or insult her.
PS: Their chemistry onscreen is really amazing!

I agree. There is more to their story then what we know. I was really surprised at Janvi's reaction.
There is some misunderstanding for sure.

Yeah! Especially the way she was in a moment just looking at him and lost and the very next moment she pushed him away saying "yeh sab tumhare liye sahi hota hoga mere liye nahi"
And then she was saying "Mauka ka fayda uthana tumhe bohot achchi tarah se aata hai, pehle bhi aata tha, aaj bhi aata hai"😕
There is a huge misunderstanding. She definitely likes him if not love him but she must have seen or heard or experienced something that she has such a strong opinion against him as a man. She seems to find him nice person, helpful and all but she thinks he is not a nice choice as a boyfriend/lover.

Yes, but Janhavi's reaction and allegations were very rude and not needed. You were just teaching him dance moves and all gestures were part of that...so hurting him with so bitter words was totally in bad taste. And it was unlike her polite and caring character...yes if he had attempted something immodest on her, then may be she could behave the way she did..love their chemistry and Janhavi needs his help always, he got her out of jail...so should consider being in his good books, without compromising any self respect of course, but avoiding mood swings and fits of anger.

She doesn't have mood swings its just that she never accepted him for some reason which happened in school. It was not about the dance I guess, she said that "Tumhe logo ka istemal karna bohot achchi tarah se aata hai. pehle bhi aata tha aaj bhi aata hai". It shows something happened between them in school or there is some back story.
The character is fine with everyone. May be she thinks that Akarsh is already dating Nandini and still trying to get close to her. Because she saw nandini hugging akarsh coming out of bathroom before too and Jhanvi's timings of entry was absolutely wrong this time too.😆
She doesn't seem to have problem with Akarsh as a person. Like she knows he is a nice helpful person and reliable and trustworthy but for some reason she doesn't see him as a loyal lover/boyfriend/partner. She does have liking towards him now but she doesn't still wanna accept him.
Loved the way Akarsh reacted and scolded her. Hope they talk about it and solve the misunderstanding.
She definitely looked rude by the reaction. Because it was so sudden, unexpected and out of the blue.
But they always look so natural and have amazing chemistry.

It's ridiculous how good they look together as a pair, and I love Akarsh, however I'm not going to lie but I don't like jhanvi's character. Tina is really cute and a pretty doll, but the character itself is such a plain jane to me. They really need to explain what happened between jhanvi- Akarsh for her to seem to have a slight attraction towards him that she constantly keeps holding back whilst rejecting and hurting akarsh with her anger all the time, that way I can understand her reaction and understand her a little better. To me it always seems like the female lead is poorly written in ITV given how they act emotionally erratic, impulsive, dim-witted, stubborn and unreasonable.

BTW, I wonder who akarsh bought that ring for? Don't tell me it's for that dumb bimbo who sticks to him like glue? Seemed just odd how he turned up to buy a ring, agreeing that whichever girl that would get to wear that ring would be very lucky whilst looking at jhanvi, already knew the ring size he wanted, which coincidentally turned out to be a right fit for jhanvi and he bought it when he saw it fit her. Because of this I feel he bought it for jhanvi, but then again given their falling out with each other due to her constant insults I don't understand why he would by a ring for jhanvi. Then I also have a feeling he might have bought it for that other girl, but why would he buy it for her I don't understand.

Actually I love both their character. I like how they are not too nice so that others just walk over them and not too rude.
Yeah but it is irritating when she trusts him as a friend, knows him that he is a nice person and most of all quite comfortable talking to him then she should just talk to him and clear the misunderstanding. He doesn't even knows what exactly is she is so mad about what happened in past. But then what will they show in the serial about their story. Some masala and all the creatives will add for sure in their love story.😆
Actually in recent iv, Mohit said that his character was a brat/ bad boy types in school so thats why she didn't take the watch or accept him in past. On being asked about why Jhanvi didnt accept his gift in past.
Exactly the same thing I thought about the ring thing but if at all he shows that he brought for nandini, it would be to make Jhanvi jealous. Nothing more. And looking at today's episode and seeing Jhanvi jealous, it is quite evident she is jealous to find him buying ring for someone else. She likes him but why can't she know it herself.😆
Or may be Jhanvi thinks he is dating Nandini (because she saw them together twice, one out of bathroom scene and then yesterday dance and the way Jhanvi said she didn't want to disturb them and then Nandini's taunt that she did disturb them) and still trying to pursue her so may be Akarsh want to clear everything.

Thanks for the explanation. Given all this it isn't surprising then why she behaves wary of akarsh. She's from a very modest and conservative family, he created a spoilt brat/ bad boy image of himself in school/college in her eyes, then he flirts with her whilst simultaneously letting Nandini be physically close to him all the time in front of Jhanvi, hence he himself is creating this negative impression of himself that he is a shameless flirt.

@pink : Yeah! That may be the main reason. I think so too!
I also think just their timings are completely off.
Nandini just chipkos him but Jhanvi sees the chipko part and leaves thinking they are having their moment and misses the part where he pushes Nandini away. The outside bathroom scene too he was ignoring the hug because he felt uncomfortable as she was not in appropriate clothes too but Jhanvi just saw the hug part and left immediately and missed the end.
Similarly yesterday epi, Jhanvi's entry was again at wrong timing when Nandini was teaching him dancing. She missed the part where Nandini was adamant to come close to him and teach him dancing so may be thought that he was same way trying to come close to Nandini by asking her to teach him dancing and the same way doing with her.
But yeah Akarsh' s past impression too has a major role in her not accepting him till now.

I agree. It was absolutely rude. I was flabbergasted at her reaction.
