I find Mohini very interesting with a consistent well-etched character. I don't like her but she is consistent. Right from the onset of the show during the religious ceremony scenes, she disliked the Sharma family, refused to show them any consideration or respect but most of the hate was directed at Prerna herself!
She always goes on she knows her Anu better than he knows himself! She really does know that Anu is falling in love/ or is in love with Prerna. Did she get an inkling of Anu's feelings towards Prerna even before Anu and Pre did? In the first few episodes? Mohini has a dark side to her. Her love for Anu is bordering on obsession and control.
She took on the task of marrying off Prerna to Naveen Babu with so much enthusiasm that it was plainly obvious she wanted Prerna out of Anu's life. In fact, she decided to blackmail Prerna with eviction to get her to marry Naveen.ðŸ˜
She pretended not to understand the challenge directed at her by her daughter Nivi, but inside, she set out to destroy any Anu and Pre love story before it took hold.
She latched onto Miska in a heartbeat, especially as she had just listened to Shivani on the phone about how Prerna was in love with in Anu and ready to declare her feelings! Miska was a godsend to Mohini.
Yeah, Anu and Prerna are still fumbling with words and emotions trying to understand their feelings, while Mohini is miles ahead of them.
She knows her son is in love with Prerna. Her task in life is to destroy that love because it is not what she wants! Selfish woman!😔
