To see how much Dipika is under Sree's magic and whether she would agree to do it if Sree says and make that sacrifice.

I think it is to test their relationship again. From Sree's side, it's kind of obvious that he will do anything for Dipika. But we don't know what are Dipika's boundaries. To what extent she can sacrifice for him? We may never know because of Sree's interference. Dipika might actually do a lot considering how much she puts up with him anyhow 😛

And what is this taking stand for herself? 😕 She takes stand for herself more than needed, even with Sree she voices her opinion. Just doesn't fight with him like people want

I agree. Just saying that guests are giving tasks directly or indirectly related to Sree since he gives disproportionately strong reactions and that creates drama in the house. KV also refused to give the coffee that he had in his possession as a part of the task, but such a hype was not created around that.

Gauahar asked for the Dupatta sacrifice in exactly the same format in which sacrifice tasks are conducted in BiggBoss - 1 person requests and tries to convince another to give up something for him/her. Just to justify Sree's horrible behavior, some fans are arguing that Gauahar should have directly asked Dipika - this is questioning the basic BiggBoss Sacrifice task concept itself. It's not as if Gauahar was actually interested in the jacket/dupatta that she should hv asked Dipika to lend her the same -- in fact, she was providing both Sree and Dipika a golden opportunity to get footage and appreciation - imagine the precaps and fan posts if this task would have actually been conducted.

If Gauahar was interested in seeing Sree fail, she would have asked for the jacket/dupatta to be damaged; instead she just asked for those things to be safely stored and even tried to explain to Sree that Dipika will get back those things in 3 days.
