So previously I'd made a topic on sree himself saying he gets preference from BB. he also said that dipika n kv get preference as they r the faces of color.

In last night's episode when dipika n romil were in the chat show, Deepak said something about MG in connection with dipika. Now this reminds me of a khabri who was against dipika from d moment the season started. I'm talking about the initial weeks of BB. Someone asked him on Twitter y he was against dipika n he had replied something on the lines that he couldn't support someone who came with a MG. That time I didn't know what was MG, but later found out, it means maximum guarantee.

So what's the point of the show anyways. BB was supposed to be all about showing your personality under exceptional circumstancez and situations. But sadly that no longer is true. Now it's an oppprtumity for wanna be celebs in the form of commoners, who r basically given a free rein to go to any levels n extrimeties. This season actually the commoners have been a very decent lot, barring surbhi. But still, it's been too much attack and stretching of small small issues to make muddas. And some celebs come with MG, so they play safe n don't react knowing that without doing anything they'll successfuly go a long way or in some case, even if they break rules n disrespect the show, they'll be carried forward.

And those who really came with the spirit of the original concept n play their game well, get evicted unfairly on false n flimsy basis.

Very true! Sree had openly declared much earlier that he had an assured 7 weeks contract; now since last 2 days, Romil and Deepak have been talking about Dipika's assured 10 weeks contract. 10 weeks is a very long duration, 3/4th of the show is over by then, so why will any participant, with such a contract, have a reason to do any task or forge a friendship with other housemates to at least escape nominations if nothing else. This is the primary reason for Sree and Dipika playing their own ghar-ghar in BB12. This way Colors has cheated the viewers of good content, participants of a fair game and themselves of TRPs! This is a very serious concern and we viewers really need to be more vocal against it so that the same thing is not repeated in the next season.

You are correct.

In retrospect we realise why Sree was sent to the secret room inspite of serious violations which would have entitled him to be evicted.

We know why Srishti was deprived of captaincy for a mild prevarication while Sree continues to enjoy the support of the show.

We know why Shiv was evicted but the main door never opened for Sree.

This lends credibility to the allegation that Sree has decided to forego the fees for being given a chance to make an image makeover and retained for 14 weeks without any action for violations committed by him.

Yes everything is manipulated by BB, especially the nominations. Even this week's nominations were totally manipulated.

They should just stop this sham n openly support/ give preference n do away with voting n keep whoever they want in the game n stop humiliating other HMs and show they r at fault, when the bottom line is that they r just a hindrance to d favoured ones.

It has been that way for many seasons now. Not only this season. They make a script that closely mimics reality and then slot the roles. And then the narrative is tweaked as per their script. If people deviate from the script or if by chance they turn out to become more popular than was originally calculated then again they manipulate it to either evict them or to cash in on the sudden popularity. (eg : Shiv, Neha, Luv, Vikas)

I've never believed that votes count. Not last season when the fever was at it's highest. Not even this season when it's lukewarm.

Na I don't think so that it's scripted. It's since celeb v commoners concept started. In S10, in retrospect it was obvious that a commoner wld be made winner n also they blindly supported commoners n celebs were always humiliated.

Bb11 wld have been the same, but in that season it was d celebs who were the ones providing the content. Luv was one of my favs that season n in fact in the beginning itself I had said that I'm glad luv came in s11, coz there were so many content providers that season, that they could afford to keep a sweet decent guy like luv till almost the end. Though he was evicted unfairly.

This season toh MG is out in the open. Maybe BB is showing all this coz they plan to make Deepak the winner n show that dey r being fair. But even if Deepak or Romil wins, it doesn't take away the fact that there were MG contracts signed n the season was very unfair.

Okay fine to some extent, manipulations in nominations and eliminations was accepted by audience but this MG thing is most unfair! Atleast in manipulations the contestant is not aware of anything while the guaranteed contestant is always aware that they are never gonna leave until this period. They have inside info and they play accordingly. What is most wrong is that it changes the whole journey and gameplay of contestant who has MG and who doesn't (like you nicely elaborated). I can't believe Deepak n others know about this and are still okay with it 😕

@Bold- I think that's coz the whole original concept of BB has changed. For deepak and others, this is a perfect platform for them to get popularity and fame. They maybe even ok with BB being unfair. It's like it's a tacit understanding coz celebs have everything to lose, so they'll play safe. The commoners/ wannabe celebs have nothing to lose and they go all out. And then of course there r some like Neha who get into the show on goodwill, play the game in its spirit, but get booted out as they don't fit the narrative.

I hope the rumours doing the rounds r true that BB makers r gonna take a breather for a few years and come back on a different channel with a new host. Hopefully it will be a total overhaul and be closer to the original concept.
