Can't believe this no one can go against SRK n RC in the trade. Looks like last minute publicity gimmick. First sudden cancellation of early middle-east release n now this does not look organic at all.

Look its realistic to opt for some feasible options. All three Khans career has been going down specially SRK's. None has any confidence on SRK's movies anymore. Its pure gamble at this stage.

Isn't KGF a South movie?! ... Do South movies have all over Indian release where they have to compete with BW movies screen? .. Sounds a bit weird!

It is a Kannada film dubbed in Hindi and releasing on a massive scale. It is dubbed in all southern languages.

The Hindi version is being distributed by Excel and Anil Thadani. After Baahubali and then 2.0, I will not be surprised if theater owners opt for big South projects.

Usually they don't the only other time it has happened was for bahubali where dharma was the distributor n here excel is distributing this one hence a little competition. Just on their own south dubbing movies hold no interest at theatres. On television the story is completely different.
