Anupam was used to make this whole situation a little bit lighter and for his comic timing ..
Anupam has been shown to cheering for Anupre nowadays.. Though at first he had been shown as a Greedy and selfish guy and supported Naveen too .. Now he seems to be only harmless and funny only. And in Anurag's team. So he is little bit unpredictable.
