As mentioned above, Sree has always been clear about his priorities. He has said Deepika is his sister and Shiv like his brother. He has a cordial relation with Megha and Jas but that doesn't means he would cry on their exit. He knew the very moment Jas and Megha left that he and Deepika were alone and he wanted it clear from Romil. Thats not a crime!
He didn't have to cry, but atleast wait for them to leave before commenting on continuity.
