Kedarnath 1st day (Friday) box office collection:

Saif Ali Khan daughter Sara Ali Khan debut movie Kedarnath after creating quite a buzz hit the theatre on Friday. The film opened with a good collection in its first day box office. Kedarnath box office collection is around Rs. 7.25 Crore (Revised) on day 1 i.e. Friday.

Kedarnath features Sushant Singh Rajput, Nitish Bharadwaz and others directed by Abhishek Kapoor. The movie got mixed reviews from the critics. Besides it, Kedarnath facing huge competition from Rajini Kanth and Akshay Kumar movie 2.0 in its screen share as the latter is running well in the box office. If world of mouth is positive the film may collect around Rs. 25 Crore in the opening weekend of Indian box Office.

7cr doesn't seem bad! No?... How much does it need to be a Hit?

Rs. 7Cr is a decent opening.

It is made on a 60cr budget. 😲 Opening is better than what was predicted though.

Budget is 50 cr i think. Good first day collection. Expected at most 5 cr. If Sunday can touch 10 cr it can recover its cost. Sara already got appreciation. BO number is what matters most for Sushant & Abhisheik after Rabta & Fitoor. It has a chance cause public review is positive.

Its indeed a good box office number considering tough competition from 2.0.

Anyways it has to make up as much as it can in first week, as Zero will probably hit both 2.0 and this one hard.
Unless it also turns out to be a TOH.

This is surprisingly a very good opening considering the mediocre buzz and expectations. Hope the film capitalizes on it in the weekend. Ultimately everything boils down to to the acceptance from the movie going public. It would be a boost to the cast and crew after the upheavals they went through during the making.
