Ok, this is very random. I somehow started watching KKHH scenes because yes, I love KKHH no matter what anyone has to say about it today. 😆
So the following scene gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME. It can not just be me? I feel my heart breaks for Anjali every time I see this even though I have seen it a million times before. 😆 Everything about the scene is on point.

Does anyone else feel the same way upon watching this scene? This scene always reminds me why Kajol is one of my favorites.

I cry every single time I see this scene. It has so many emotions... ❤️

Edit: I thought you were asking about everyone's favorite scene from the movie. 😆 My bad.

You are not alone. KKHH breaks me everytime. But my tearjerker moment is the train farewell. I bawl my eyes out every single time. The moment Anjali says she might not come back the way Rahul reacts is so raw. Kajol and Shah were so good in that scene. Breaks me everytime without fail. The way Rahul runs when the train actually starts probably knowing he's not gonna see her agaan. When realization hits Tina and that dupatta scene :( I love this movie so much but growing up really changed a lot feelings I had for this movie 😆 Rahul is a whole jerk lol.

OMG that scene must be really iconic because when I saw the title of the thread I opened it to share this exact scene as my most favorite and lo and behold, you have already mentioned the exact one...:o
I remember crying buckets at this scene and also hating Rani (and SRK)for marrying SRK and breaking Kajol's heart (and mine... 😆)-

EDIT: Yep, growing up has totally changed what I think of this movie...Now I cannot even fathom Rahul's character...

No worries, feel free to post any favorite scene. I didn't realize my title and original post are sort of talking about two different things 😆.

SRK's parts give me goosebumps in this scene. I feel KJo always knows how to appropriately use the background score in his movies. It truly adds impact.

The nuances that you pointed out are what get to you the most. The way Tina is slowly absorbing how Anjali is leaving because of her..Rahul slowly showing realization that his best friend is actually leaving...and Anjali trying to deflect the actual issue on hand which is her heart being broken because she is in love with Rahul...yeah...

I must say, even though my feelings have changed over the past years for this film as well.I still feel this film has some of the best heartbreak scenes in recent times. Call me cheesy or whatever, but there is something about a lot of this film's scenes which are just very easy to relate to...which is perhaps why I always find myself going back to them. The characterizations of Rahul, Tina and Anjali although flawed, in their own way, are actually realistic as well...and I think because I have developed different perspectives on this film over time (as an adult), I still love it, but in other ways than when I was a kid..if that makes any sense?

This scene is my favorite scene because everything just seems so true to the context of the script. I honestly do not think I can recall any heartbreak scene off the top of my head enacted by a Bollywood actress that could easily beat this for me. Kajol is absolutely effortless!

Also,in this scene, SRK coming across as a clueless jerk is actually wonderfully displayed 😆..because it only makes Anjali's hurting more apparent.
