We literally saw the whole movie in that trailer why would anyone want to watch it now?

Ranveer is a corrupt cop who befriends a teacher and then goes against the man who he used to lick feet off because the teacher got raped.

They needed to differentiate it from Singham but also show the hero isn't a completely black character, just grey. Also it's a remake. People will just Google the plot.

The whole point of cutting a trailer is to give just enough plot to the audience not out the whole movie out there in 3 mins short format.

Although the film in itself is looking crappy but I am specifically critising the way the trailer is cut.

I dont watch craps like this and himmatwala but that doesnt mean I won't diss such low brainer movies. 😳

I agree trailer nowadays give away everything. I know I am now sounding redundant, but I just cannot get over over how the trailer focused more on Rohit Shetty and Singham, rather than on Ranveer's character.

Although I don't think this will be a Himmatwala or Dilwale, because the movie will pump up all the anger that people have against rape. Plus I think from the trailer (an redundant thing I doing whole day), Ranveer's character seems more like Kalyan in Pataas, who too is corrupt character but not as dank as Temper's Daya. But that isn't a bad thing as Kalyan was also a fun character.

I heard pataas and temper had similar plot. I saw temper and did not like it. I am sensitive to rape-type-of-plots. I always avoid them but went to temper without knowing it

That's the reason I decided to skip simmba

This trailer is not good. Showing the story is fine if it's interesting but this one isn't. I really don't like rape being used as a plot device in stupid masala movies. Hated it when they did that in Kaabil too. It's not something that should be used for entertainment. It's insensitive and gross.

Ranveer's voice and presence are very weak for a movie like this. People think masala movies don't require anything from the actors but they do. It makes you appreciate Salman and Ajay when they pull off movies like this.

They did a big disservice to Ranveer by showing Ajay. It made it so obvious what he doesn't have. 😆
