Yes. I read that : 22 Muslim countries including Pakistan and Bangladesh or their provinces have abolished triple talaq either explicitly or implicitly.

In my country ppl are aware of our mazhab , so no one say 3 talaqs at one time, so we hardly face this situation. but it Pakistani dramas they show it like everybody has to say 3 talaqs at one time! 😲

awida the funny thing is that this scenario only happens in dramas...in reality people dont give 3 divorces at one time 😆 even in Pakistan they have their own laws its not as simple as they show in dramas

The divorce cases can go on for upto 6 months or even a year before a couple is declared as divorced :O

@HB . oh this is what I wanted to know. and I am happy that ppl don't take talaq lightly like it is shown in dramas. I know in modern world ppl need law to settle their matters well. Divorce affects the lives of not just a couple , but their family too. and I support law being considered in validating divorces.
