ohmygod ohmygod you write so well!!!!!! We haven't interacted much since i am never active on the LU thread because reading the written updates before watching just ruins the surprise element for me but oh i would love it if you keep on making posts like these!First of all i totally agree with thisNaagin 3 is indeed expect the unexpected, at least so far. Not in terms of plot-line but in terms of characterization.^They have deeply developed the characters, not just the leads, the villains as well and so far kept their traits and characteristics consistent(except for a few things here and there)Traditionally that is what women were seen doing in our daily soaps. The men would go out fight villians while the women fought the kitchen politics. The men had multiple partners who came to attract them while the women showed unwavering faith in their men. The men fought for the bread and then told women they don't understand a thing about the world where men fight..Since the story doesn't conform to the traditional gender roles Mahir's reactions will not be traditionally masculine. If Bella is the epitome of a modern woman, the Mahir is the epitome of how the modern man should be. The women have reached the stage where they perfectly balance their duties, the men are yet to catch up. His understanding and supporting nature is what makes Mahir desirable, not his wealth and good looks.^This is so on point!👏 In each serial its the same story! The most difficult task a woman has to do is to deal with her in-laws or deal with a difficult boss and etc. Bela and Mahir are both very different! They never put each other in the gender stereotypical role. Bela has not been reduced to a mere house wife nor has Mahir been shown to be just a business man. He takes care of the house and each member and tries do his best. (I remembered the scene where Bela is supposed to prepare dishes for her rasoi rasam and Mahir helps her out)They have beautifully molded Bela's character and she deserves to be called a queen! She tries to see the good in everyone but then she never under estimates the wrong a person can do. No matter how hard the situation is and how lonely she is, she faces the enemy with passion and courage.Mahir on the other hand also tries to see the good in everyone but he does not trust blindly, he observes and then concludes. Also looking forward to some more interesting posts by you
I agree with Maria here, you need to make more posts. You analyze really well, Ash.@Maria: Well put. And what endears me is for a supernatural show, they are SO relatable as humans. Specially Bela, she is a Naagin but still she is such a relatable person... Mahir tho is a role-model types...Their characters just click with you. This "connection" they managed to make with viewers is largely a reason for Show's tremendous success. 👏P.S: Will edit soon pucca, have to consolidate my thoughts a bit...
