What do we know about our couple? They were friends in childhood and then stopped playing with each other because the Anurag of old could not handle someone different from him.
Though they were not actively friends they never lost sight of the other. Observing watching looking at each other characters, looks (!), popularity.
A series of unforeseen moments brought them back into each other proximity thereby giving them them the opportunity to get to know the adults. They have reconnected on the basis of their simplicity, that fierce love and loyalty to family and the fact that this new Anurag rather than being put off or scared (?) by how different prerna is, is actually attracted to her for that difference. She brings out the child in him that no one else can. The child that he even refused to be when he himself was a child.
Add to that this element of physical attraction that they are acknowledging.
Ok all good as of now?
For me, it is. But I want more. Relationships start on this basis but for them to continue and be strong they need to build on that. We need more conversations between the couples that create that connection. More conversations about stuff other than the obsessive need to stop the marriage between Prerna and Naveen Babu.
