When channel has a habit of poking nose in writer's work ofcourse one is bound to feel changes. They have been continuously interfering ever since Pak rishta track. Original storyline changed long back. Writers were still trying to keep the essence intact but how can channel stand that. Writers tried so hard to show their story on which they worked for some 3 years and this channel ruined it all.
For some reason, I am glad it ended like this since more interference would have made me disconnect with the show completely. And PH did the right thing by not bowing down further to this stupid channel's demands. Look at those shows which bowed, they are in absolute mess now.

it feels really strange that in the last week, we see traces of the old bepannah that was so engaging in the beginning. emotions that are raw and playing havoc. people actually acting like how real world people would react to situations.could we have seen the impact of aditya's erratic behaviour on arjun earlier? the brothers in conflict and frustrated at each other? arjun feeling like he can't breathe even when he is so many kilometers away and still has to be the responsible one? and his anger and argument with aditya were spot on. and then his conversations with noor where we see his loneliness and his need for a familiar face where he just wants to talk. and the awkwardness with noor as they both try to connect amidst the changes and the old memories...whlie the secretary girl is just plain weird, aditya's anger and erratic behaviour makes it interesting to watch and also drives home how much arjun played a role in making this family sane and holding the pieces. he was the peace maker and should have been given a more prominent role.it almost feels like the past few months were written by another person (maybe some junior writer) and there was no depth to the whole rajveer-nani track. it was mostly comedy with hardly any emotional resonance. and now, we are getting back to the writing that really made bepannah sparkle and shine in the first 6 months or so...as I listen to the old OST song, the themes stand out -- anger, frustration, loneliness, moving on, trying to find comfort amidst the pain, confusion at life's turns, the distance between loved ones, inability to communicate what's inside the heart; when bepannah stayed grounded in those themes, it really stood out and so perhaps, it would have been better as a closed fixed episode series. then it wouldn't have meandered off into weirdness and a bit of emotional disconnect...
