So Preity's recent metoo statement caused quite a stir after which she blamed that good-for-nothing Faridoon for editing the interview in such a way that her statements looked bad.

Now according to the clarification, she has posted she has said that her brother shot himself after being falsely accused.

She may very well be telling the truth here. But this sounds like another justification because her attempt to blame Faridoon backfired on her after the first backlash she received.

Knowing Preity history... I am ready to give the benefit of doubt to her.

She was the sole person standing against the underworld when entire bollywood was hiding like a scared rat.

She goofed up yr... maybe she wasn't able to convey what she meant in a better way.. she is not good in articulation...

She never said Faridoon forced her. But I think she claimed the editing was done badly and it made her look bad. Even in this statement she's saying her words were taken out of context. It's never a good idea for celebrities to make excuses when apologizing. The apology will seem insincere.

She said whatever she felt, no one told her to say those crappy words and giggle with it! Bad way of justifying her terrible behaviour! One doesn't have to be articulate to call a spade a spade!

Generally speaking editing can definitely make you look bad. In this case, I haven't seen the original video but the consensus seem to be there wasn't much scope for her words to be edited badly and taken out of context. So she screwed up, and by trying to fix it she screwed up again, and now possibly again.

She always was someone who stood up to bullies and didn't back down. I think that's why people have found her take on this issue so offensive. No one expected this from her.
