I don't really want to get into the logistics of who was right or who was wrong. Mainly because the episode hasn't telecasted and precaps can always be very misleading. I found the comments way below the belt, crass and unnecessary and I didn't find Dipika's reaction an overreaction at all. But there are two things that really spurned a reaction a) a saturation point and b) her love for Shoaib.
I know a lot of people are saying it's for footage because Salman says she wasn't seen last week. Guys, he's been saying that for a while and even Hina said it before but Dipika hasn't really seemed interested in taking that in. In fact for a while I thought that she's probably been completely demoralized and her interest in the game had faded. The thing is the mimicry started last week in the game with PZ and you could tell by Dipika's face, that she wasn't even remotely amused. But she's neither Hina or Shilpa to react or make a huge deal about it. She didn't like it but she took it in her stride. It happened again this week and still while it was evident she didn't like it, Dipika did nothing. But then this time, it went too far and it went to personal. She's said it before too, that she's calm until something huge happens and then she blow up and voila, here's the explosion. She's quiet and soft-spoken but you attack her loved ones, she'll be the loudest.
I watched Shoaib and Dipika in Nach Baliye and there was an episode where the couples were performing their stories. From what I gather, Dipika was married before and her husband was somewhat emotionally abusive. In that time Shoaib became her strength and gave her the courage to come out of that unhealthy marriage, get over that divorce and overall become happier in life. He really has been her rock and I think that's why she's so protective about her relationship. So benefit of doubt given, even if it was meant to be funny (I didn't think so at all), bringing Shoaib, her life as she says, into it was her tipping point.
I also want to say that reactions become more extreme in the BB house. Imagine being there for I think it's been almsot 4-6 weeks (idk) and you have no contact from the outside world, no other entertainment, you're constantly being targeted, you're homesick and suddenly someone decides to mock you by bringing in your personal life. It's natural to get annoyed.
I would also like to point out how the entire house was practically silent in the precap when Dipika was shouting. That itself is proof that Sristhy (btw I literally cannot stand her) and Romil definitely weren't right. Surbhi was so quiet, like in a way I've never seen her quiet. She's usually the first to yell. And it seemed to me that Deepak was telling Romil not to argue back. Somi too had nothing to say. It looks like nobody's going to say anything to stop Dipika but then again the episode hasn't aired but I think currently it seems everybody found it wrong.
Damn okay, I didn't realize I had so much to say but maybe I do anyways but last point. Bhaiyaa and saiyaa ka matlab we all know and it isn't innocent. Romil to an extent maybe, maybe, maybe he didn't mean it in such a crass way but I doubt it. He's a lawyer, and regardless of wether he's a mastermind or not, you have to be somewhat smart to be a lawyer. He knows what that means and he know where it comes from. But Srishty, being a woman with a fiance who has faced a similar situation, you are a disappointment is what you are.
One last thing (oops) about the whole she doesn't say anything to Shree. Ah but she does, BB just chooses not to air it. If you go on Voot or even twitter, you'll find her yelling at Shree. The thing is that Shree keeps it to the game and Dipika so her reactions aren't as strong. At the same time their relationship is much stronger. We tolerate more from people who are closer. But it's a myth that she doesn't get mad at Shree.
It's a game play the game and talk about the game. The personal is unnecessary and dragging it doesn't make the other person look bad, it makes you look like a rude jerk.
