Yes absolutel correct. Teejay is wrong in interfering. i never found salman leg pulling of k.v in bad taste. in fact it was funny and entertainer and never felt k.v is being humiliated as such

Ego toh hain, and to the extent that he cannot take being criticized even minutely, while he's free to do and say as he pleases. This is subjective - some viewers and even KV may have felt that he was never humiliated - that it was all in good taste and fun. But Teejay and a large number of viewers didn't. If Salman is going to mock someone every single time that person speaks, even if he has no intentions to bully/humiliate, it is going to look such to plenty.

He should've therefore clarified to KV (and the viewership) that he had no such intentions, and he apologizes if anyone's sentiments were hurt. Salman was also hurt/offended by Teejay's letter? Then he could've said that too. But he is far too vindictive for former.

I'm fine with KV apologizing - he prolly felt that Salman was hurt, and he was also put on the spot. But while I'm all for KV's right to his own opinion - he doesn't have to agree with TJ or what she did, and he's obviously more invested in whatever relations they have with Salman's family - there was no call to claim being ashamed of what his wife did, on national tv. All she did, whether undue interference or not, she did to stick up for him.

I feel like this entire issue is about perspective. And everyone is right from the way they saw the situation.
KV is locked up in the house with no contact whatsover with the outside world. He meets Salman once a week, he teases him, its all part of the show, the show's over, it's forgotten for a week.

TJ is part of the audience, she sees it like we do and gets offended over how her husband is treated and decides to voice her opinion on social media. (Nothing wrong with this since open letters have become such a trend nowadays)

Salman brings up the issue to defend himself, because he got offended over the letter like anyone would, considering they are on good terms with him and his family outside. He wouldn't have even brought up the letter if it was for any other contestant. So what was wrong in him asking KV directly if he feels offended by his jokes?

KV, hearing and seeing only Salman's perspective feels bad for him and questions his wife. And when he spoke to the camera, he ALSO said that let me talk to TJ to clarify everything.. how come no one picked up on that?

I said this before and i'll say it again, kv isnt going to change who he is no matter what the situation. So we cant say he did right/ wrong and judge him for it. Nor can we blame TJ for writing that letter and Salman for bringing it up. Everyone did what they thought was right.

Why didn't she even once wrote Salman's name in that letter and pinpoint exactly what bothered her? To be honest, if people do not like his bullying nature, then it's time to standup and say that to his face. Quit writing open letters on twitters and facebook. If ever KV thought Salman was being an asshole to him he needs to stop sucking up to him and say his jokes are out of line and he'd appreciate to not get disrespected so many times as it took him years to earn respect on the television and people might lose all that respect for him. Yes, Salman is a bully. Yes, he is an asshole and probably worst than that. Who knows? I've never met him or talked to him but for people who does, please say that to his face.

Well, she didn't directly address Salman because he's the host, so it's not clear whether he's reading a script, in which KV's mocking is also part of the script, or he's himself making those jokes. So it wouldn't have seemed right if she had pointed out at Salman directly.

My post was not about what Teejay did was right or wrong. I too think that she shouldn't have written an open letter, as KV was there to play a game. But that doesn't give Salman the right to insult her in National television. It's also isn't about whether KV doesn't mind Salman's mocking or not. My problem with him is being sharminda of her wife. TJ was wrong, but that doesn't refute the claim that KV is spineless, and Salman is a bully with big fat ego.
