Bela was not less today. She values marriage, customs na then how simply she was set to let Vikku/Yuvi's haldi put on her face.
I watched it second time...noticed few more things...
in initial hug scene Mahir said koi aur tumhe touch Kare, I can't take it, rok do ye Sab..tumhe sirf mere name Ka haldi lagega...that was the clue that Mahir is now done playing nice and he will do anything to keep Bela..Mahir is being possessive since Bela let him in on fake Yuvi thing..today he just acted on it...not really surprising...and the way vyom beech mein tapak pada ki mujhe Bela ko haldi lagana hai, everyone noticed it as odd...Vikku thought it a way of testing what vyom is made of...but any possessive husband would object...which is what Mahir did...not really odd...
Aur Bela, what she meant is Yuvi k sath Kuch bhi matter nehi karta coz she doesn't plan to go all the way with it...aur it's not weird agar tum Yaad karo ki Shaan k time pe Bela actually signed the devorce paper, without thinking ki kya Hoga agar Kuch garbar hua to...isbar bhi she has a plan and she is executing it and haldi is a part of it...but Mahir ko ye nehi pata na so he is upset...but Bela aisa pahele bhi Kar chuki hai..for her I guess as long as at the end she is with Mahir only, agar Kuch ulta sidha Karna bhi pare it doesn't matter...I m not saying it's right, just trying to understand her logic...If Mahir was doing this she would feel like Mahir feels now, but she is doing it so she thinks I love Mahir only and will be with him..what does a few fake retuals matter...this is how she operates usually - as long as I know I m right public opinion don't matter, and it's Mahir's duty to automatically understand me...she still hasn't told him that day the I love u was for him not yuvi and Mahir didn't ask again...😛
2nd...like us Bela didn't expect Mahir to take control like that...the dance and haldi part was a happy surprise...Mahir actually apna haldi lagake dikhaega...she was surprised and happy with his new avatar and he is been testing his limits for a while now...a hug, a kiss, possessive dialogues...phir haldi lagana aur dance...Bela accepted it all...to vo bold ban gaya...did u see Bela's face when he said in room, ab haldi utarunga bhi pure haq se...she too was surprised at what Mahir was saying and doing and she did wonder abt it...but she accepted that too and Mahir took her to bathroom after observing her acceptance... nothing was disconnected really thanks to pearbhi...Jo kuch CVS didn't show clearly, it was all written in Mahir and Bela's face and eyes..all those subtle looks and expressions...the hesitation, the decision to be bold, the acceptance,the desperation,and reason behind all the things that looked out of character for Behir, it was all in their face today...
Anyway this is how I felt after watching thrice..and wanted to share my thoughts...in case it helps...if it doesn't then that's ok...after all no matter how smart Bela acts now I will never forget her dumb phase where she let Vikku hurt Mahir and her reputation...so if u still feel episode was disappointing then let's hope they give better things next time...😊
