gals from london dnt dress like that

ok people hello,

im naina new on this forum, i used to watch banoo mein teri dulhan only upto where vidya comes to delhi and harsh marries chandra. the first 2/3 months.

then from past thursday i have started to watch this drama again so some of u might find me new here.i incidentally watched a video of vidya and sagar on youtube and ever then i went sharad and dulhann mad.

im a regular member at kayamath, kuch iss tara and bollywood gossip section.

ok so coming bak to topic, my topic was that divya has come from london, she is a daughter of a rich buisnessman. wat im saying is that her look is not wat people wear in london, trus me people,i live in london and here gal's wears jeans and tops. but vidya wears dresses. wat im saying is that she is shown to be a princess type but heere gal's straight there hairs neraly everyday (i dont its bad for hairs).however she looks really innocent in it.i have to say vidy's dressing sense is really bad.

i mean her dresses are designer wear.

in the first epi,her introduction epi, she was dressed up as a nurse

lolz..tht wasnt a nurseoutfit..lolz 😆 but probably bcuz she is the duaghter of a rich business man she probably gets the best and is a little princess.. i think she is dressing in the "high" fashion cuz i've been to london and ppl were those types of clothes

Divya is a rich dude's daughter and the only heir, therefore, I won't be surprised if her dresses or outfits are designer wear. I mean, she has the money for it na.

But I think Divya's dress sense is little off. In my opinion, she's dressing like she's 16, but she's suppose to be atleast 19 or 20.

Also, I think Divyanka is trying little too hard to act like she's raised in the UK. I'm sure as time goes by, she will learn, but they should have picked some part of India for her to be born in. UK just doesn't seem right.

You're right Princess, they should have made Divya be born in India...maybe like some high status place with huge houses and many cars...she would still be rich and the daughter of a millionaire!

I thought her clothing sense was alright i mean this is a serial. Serials are usually not very practical and they're not usually the exact same as real life!

So chill people 😃 , i know we want BMTD to do well in TRPs etc but we're forgetting that its a serial. 😊

her sstyle reflects her decision of not showing skin. though I dont know why they dont put her in jeans and tshirts- cuz its not like she has to wear a tanktop or anything. Her outfits are something that lil kids would wear or someone really old- nothing that even a conservative 18-20year old person would

I think you guys missed one point in Divya's white dress. Vidya also use to wear white outfits in banaras. May be that is why they are trying to show divya in white and this is the best they could come up with.

was it really that bad? i mean did it really look like a nurse's outfit her white dress??

Maybe to a certain extent her dressing sense so far has been dresses only. but then again, Divya has only just entered. So we're still yet to se more of her dressing style.

I have only seen pictures of the episodes, because I haven't seen them yet, but in Divya's defense here, I think that just because her character is born and brought up in UK doesnt mean she has to dress like someone typical in the UK... As for designer wear, she is the daughter of someone really wealthy, so like Princess said, she has the money to wear those clothes, right?

I don't think we should judge her character on the basis that she is supposed to be from the UK.. because it happens so often, that those kind of aspects are forgotten later on.

Anyway, she's just started out with this character, we need to give her a chance, right? To play someone completely different than your character before is a tough feat... so let's see what happens, it's always good to give constructive criticism, but let's keep in mind that this is something new for all of us. 😊
