Garud is actually an eagle like sun bird and king of the birds. There is no connection of Garud as a vulture in Hindu pantheon and the heavily influenced by Hindu - Buddhist Southeast Asian countries.

Exactly my point. Eagles are mortal enemies of snakes not vultures .So they are not making any sense.

And Rogna while I commend your knowledge I doubt of the CVS are so knowledgeable. Or willing to use so much logic.
