He thought that Naina is very naive and she won't dare to give any punishment to him. So when she said that she understood why Karthik did all those actions and it was only because of his anger then he thought that Naina will excuse him. But he got the shock when she said that he should be suspended for one week. The scene that I loved most is the moment when Karthik got that slap from his dad. Literally we can see the stars flying on top his head. (Imagine Tom and jerry cartoon) 🤣
