Ishita was walking towards her room eating the chocolate while there was a constant smile on her face. She was happy after eating the chocolate as she herself dont remember when she had a chocolate last. She reached her room and settled on the bed. She remembered Raman's talk and smiled.
Ishita -achche insaan lagte hai, Raman. Bas yun hi hamesha achche rahe, kyunki Maine dekha hai logon ko badalte hue. And it pains when people change. She said and her eyes got moist. She wiped it and look at Ruhi who was sleeping peacefully unknown to the change happening in her life.
Ishita settled beside her and kissed her back softly.
Ishita -mumma has taken a very big decision for u, rooh. Bas itna manana apne bhagwaan se ,ki yeh faisla hum sabko khushi de.atleast tumhe aur iss parivaar ko. Mujhe toh takleef sehne ki aadat hai but I really don't want u and this family to go through any pain. Mujhe toh koi khushi nahi mili, but I really want u and bhalla family to be happy. She said and settled next to ruhi.
She was laying beside ruhi when there was a knock on the door. Ishita got up and open the door only to see a help there who has come to call her downstairs.
Ishita nodded and went downstairs. She saw toshiji was sitting with few men.
Ishita -ji aunty ji.
Toshiji -aaja puttar, apne liye saree aur jewellery pasand kar le.
Ishita -iski kya zarurat hai ,aunty ji. Main apne liye arrange kar lungi. Waise bhi I don't want many things.
Toshiji -i know puttar, u can arrange everything. But mera bhi toh armaan hai, mere Raman ki biwi ke liye shopping karna. Tu bas pasand kar le.
Ishita just nodded and start choosing the clothes and accessories for herself, as she don't wanna disappoint her.
Mr bhalla and raman was also helping them. After much discussion, toshiji finalised few Saree ,few suits and a lehenga for her. They selected matching jewelleries too.
Toshiji -inn sab ka bill banwa kar bhej dijiyega. She said and the men went nodding.
After they went Toshiji -ishita puttar,maine guest list bana li hai. Waise toh raman told me to keep it small but Punjabi munde ki shaadi hai, bahut kam log achche nahi lagenge. Toh thodi lambi ho gayi hai. Tu bhi apne parent ko bula le, toh unse bhi baat ho jayegi and we can fix a date for marriage. She said making ishita silent.
Mr bhalla -what happened,puttar??koi problem hai??
Ishita -actually mere koi parent nahi hai,she said making bhallas shocked.
Toshiji -matlab??
Ishita -i am an orphan, Main toh orphanage mein rehti thi. Koi nahi hai mera. she said looking down while her eyes got filled .
Raman-orphanage??but u r lawyer. Matlab u established everything of ur own.
Ishita nodded in yes and said -maine kaha tha naa, har koi aapki tarah lucky nahi hota. Jisse itne achche parent mile. Kuch hum jaise bhi hote hai, joh sirf thokar kha kar bade hote hai. Mera koi nahi hai iss duniya mein, siva Ruhi ke. I am an orphan. She said making bhallas silent.
Ishita look at them and asked -is there any problem in it??
They look at each other and Toshiji said wiping her unshed tears -sirf Ek, aaj toh keh diya but phir kabhi mat kehna, that u r orphan. Hum hai naa tere parent. She said caressing ishita's hair making her look at toshiji and then at mr bhalla and raman.
Mr bhalla too come to her and said -toshiji is right, agar tumne dobara kaha ki tum orphan ho ,toh woh galat hoga. We r here with u, as ur parent. Hum utne hi tumhare parent hai jitne raman ke.
Ishita's eyes got filled hearing this and said -thank u uncle, nahi papa ji. Thank u papa ji for making me a part of ur family. She said and Mr bhalla happily side hugged her.
Ishita said after a while -aap log mujhe shaadi ke baad practise karne denge naa??she asked making Raman shocked at her question. He was pleasantly surprised seeing her seeking permission from his parent when Mr bhalla said -yeh tumhara haq hai, puttar. We can't stop u. Waise bhi we r proud of u, u r a self made person. And we r really proud of it. He said happily making all smile.
Toshiji -kou bhi nahi hai ,puttar.jisse tu bulana chahe.
Ishita -ek kakimaa hai, she lives with me. Meri maa jaisi ho hai. Main unhe bula leti hoon. She said to which toshiji nodded.
Mr bhalla -waise puttar, kya socha hai aage ke liye??I mean how u r going to continue ur work.
Ishita -soch rahi hoon, Ek office le loon rent par. Will start my practise here. Will keep on going Delhi for my cases. Hope Aap log ko koi problem naa ho??
Raman -ofcourse not, we r here to help u in every manner. He said smiling when ruhi came down rubbing her eyes.
Raman saw her and said -here come my princess, aaja bachcha. He said opening his arms for her and she came to him smiling.
Raman picked ruhi in his arms and start rocking her slowly as she was still sleepy. Ruhi closed her eyes sucking her thumb while ishita was just smiling looking at ruman bond. She was very happy that now Ruhi too will have a father, and a normal life like every other kid. She was always sad that ruhi's life is also like her, without a father but now she is happy that Ruhi has raman.
Ishita was looking at Ruman when Raman said -rooh betu, kitna soyi soyi karega betu. Bhookhu nahi lagi. Kuch kha le bachcha. He was trying to wake Ruhi while she was just hiding into him nodding her head in denial.
Raman start talking to her and soon Ruhi was all awake. She look around and saw lots of things kept there.
Ruhi look at Raman and said -kya ho laha hai, papa?? Chab chundal chundal kyun hai??
Raman look at ishita smiling and said -ask ur mumma.
Ruhi went to ishita and ask the same question but she told her to ask from Raman. Ruhi got angry and said -mujhe guccha aa laha hai,she said making everyone smile.
Toshiji -aa puttar, main batati hoon kya ho raha hai.
Ruhi went to her and asked -kya ho laha hai, dadi??
Toshiji kissed her temple and said -tere mumma -papa ki shaadi ho rahi hai.
Ruhi look at toshiji and said -matbal.
Toshiji smiled and said -matbal nahi puttar, Matlab. Matlab yeh ki ab ruhi hamesha apne dadu, dadi aur papa ke saath rahegi.
Ruhi -chachi dadi. She said all excited.
Toshiji -sachchi puttar.
Ruhi got sad and said -aul mumma, woh wapach chali jayegi. Looh ko chol kar. She said sadly while her eyes got filled just thinking about her mother going away.
Ruhi -mumma hamecha chali jaati hai. Kabhi looh chaath nahi lehti. Looh chaath nahi khelti.
Ishita's eyes got moist hearing Ruhi, she turned and wiped her tears while Raman went to Ruhi and said -nahi bachcha, ab mumma kahin nahi jayegi. Hum jaane hi nahi denge, pakad kar rakhenge. Naa ishita, ab kabhi nahi jaogi naa hamari rooh ko chod kar.
Ishita nodded in no and said going to Ruhi -ab mumma kabhi nahi jayegi apni Ruhi ko chod kar. She said kissing ruhi's temple.
Ruhi got happy and hugged ishita tight. Raman smiled seeing them together when Ruhi opened her arms and pulled raman too in the hug.
Ishra look at each other when ruhi said -mumma, papa, luhi, chaath chaath. Happy family.
Ishra kissed ruhi in her either cheek and said -haan happy family. They said and shared the family hug.
