Thugs Of Hindustan Potential Opening Day - 50 Cr

Thugs Of Hindustan will be releasing next week and with the strike in Madhya Pradesh being called off it will be a clean release for the film which gives the film to potentially hit the 50 crore nett mark. Below are the figures on Sunday for Tiger Zinda Hai and Sanju (both had their best days on Sunday) and if we take the best figures from each circuit then we get a total of 47.83 crore nett.

Then on top it is the big Diwali holiday which is the biggest day for collections and North should easily surpass the figures of Tiger Zinda Hai and Sanju. No film has ever collected over 9 crore nett in Delhi / UP (barring Bahubali 2 which was on a different level) and Thugs Of Hindustan will have a chance of going around the 10 crore nett mark as UP traditionally sees house full collections at single screens on this day.

Then on top there is Aamir Khan factor in places like Mysore and Tamil / Kerala where he is the biggest star so its pretty much certain the figures of Tiger Zinda Hai and Sanju will be beaten in these two circuits. Mumbai will be more difficult to see major gains as its a prolonged holiday in Gujarat so the audience is not as big as the other national holidays as it gets split over five days and these five days collect very well rather than one day being huge.

On the face of it there is 3 crore to be had over the best circuits figures in North and South and that puts it in the 50 crore nett range. Bahubali - The Conclusion did not release in Hindi like outright Hindi films as the southern versions were there. But if we add the business it lost due to the southern versions on Sunday in Nizam / Andhra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu '/ Kerala and Odisha then its Sunday collections would have been 51.50 crore nett.
