TOH will lose 7.5% because of strike

Badhaai Ho managed to surpass Stree in most markets but collections remained less in mass markets. The first week loss for the film was 3.25 crore nett due to the strike in Madhya Pradesh. The film would have grossed 2.25 crore nett in CI and added 1 crore nett more in CP Berar if it had released in Madhya Pradesh.


The film has lost 5.25% business due to the strike and the way its going there does not seem to be an end in sight which means a film like Thugs Of Hindustan will lose around 7-7.5% of its all India business for the Hindi version if this status quo remains. Thugs Of Hindustan will lose more as its ratio will be higher in CP Berar and CI compared to a Badhaai Ho which is mainly a 15 odd city film.
