Theories floating all around: KKHH, Etc etc. but if anyone has seen the movie Aap Ki Kasam. PThat's the type of end that would be fitting Kunal. Or even Ijaazat. Rajesh Khanna doubts Mumtaz and his best friend when she is pregnant and kicks her out. but eventually Mumtaz remarries and Rajesh almost becomes homeless... and ridden with guilt. At best he can view his daughter's wedding from a distance...

He can acknowledge his love for Nandini but nothing should stop him from being guilty of totally mistreating Mauli...

Thoughts?

The movie you are talking about I think is Aap ki Kasam which had the famous hit song Jai Jai Shiv Shankar. The story line in it somewhat resembles the story line if a Telugu movie "Dr. Chakravarthy" The difference is that in the Telugu movie they patch up and hero realizes his mistakes and in Hindi it was way too late for Hero.

Yes I don't know how I made that funny typo. LOL. I want it to be too late for Kunal somehow. Even if Mauli loved him crazy, I want her to be in a relationship that gives her the respect of being a partner.

have seen that movie in my childhood. very faint memories but yes i still remember the last scene where rajesh khanna died after the marriage ceremony.. now when i am recalling the scene it feels good and bad at the same time..
i think kunal should suffer for his deeds.. and he should not be forgiven..i dont pity him but i pity the situation created by him..

kash wo time pe samabhal jata..

He lands up at his daughter's wedding and wants to attend but he is there only as a guest. Don't think he dies. He just realises what all he has lost when his own daughter calls another man Papa... and he cant do kanyaadaan of his own daughter...

i dont know why i remember him dying in the end.. 😕
it was when the girl is told that he is the father of her..
anyway, his jeena marna is not important.. 😆 i want kunal to live to see how mauli has changed and doesnt care about him anymore and also he has a daughter/son who doesnt call him papa..

@anahi oh he does... I don't remember properly because I was so young when I saw it. But like you said death or life is not important but guilt should be there

Knowing typical stupidity of tv serials, I am afraid we are going to witness another KKB leap track here.
