This thought his been niggling my mind since quite sometimes and that is, that BB is intrinsically a patriarchal show and it encourages this mindset.
Haven't watched the epi, but read that Vikas promoting Somi-deepak angle, when somi clearly and categorically stated she's not interested to the extent of LYING and saying about a false hashtag. Nowadays there's so much of noise being made about a NO meaning a NO and here BB is pushing this stalking crap behavior of Deepak.
Had read that Anup Jalota was the highest paid HM and his contribution to the show was negligible. He neither did tasks not was entertaining in the show, not providing content. The very fact that he said that he got to sleep in the show, makes such a mockery of him being in the show. In spite of that BB made concessions for him. Sent him to SR for one whole week, hoping he would be effective once he returns. But on returning n even in SR, he just became a 'yes man' for sree.
On the other hand Neha, in spite of being much more active than many other HMs, leaving quite an impact on viewers, giving her all in tasks, was evicted and one of the reasons being she was being paid a lot (but much lesser than Jalota).
Also guys who play mind game but r basically in the background get appreciated. But if the female HMs r doing so, they get grilled for not doing anything in the show or not contributing.
BB seriously needs to revamp their whole show and concept.
