20 October

Jayanti doesn't like Amba's interfere in their family matter. Amba acts innocently and is ready to apologize to Shweta and eventually Jayanti permits her to stay as she wants.

Shweta gives money to the pandit requesting him to allow her to sit for the puja. Amba overhears. Avinash and Rimjhim sit for the puja but the pandit says that Rimjhim cannot do the puja as she is mentally unfit. Amba convinces the pandit and Rimjhim is allowed to do the puja. In her room Rimjhim pulls Shweta. Shweta tells everyone that Rimjhim tried to kill her. Amba curses everyone for the blaming Rimjhim. No one listens to Shweta and go away.

Shweta is taunting Rimjhim in her room. She tells her that her end is near and to be careful. To Shweta's utter shock, Rimjhim gets up and pushes her forcefully off the bed.

21 October

Recap: Shweta is stunned that Rimjhim is alive and well playing the same game with her. Amba convinces Rimjhim to play dirty with Shweta.

Update

(I missed the first few minutes). Shweta has come to Avinash with a thari. She is wearing a bridal red sari. Avinash is irritated seeing her and asks her what she wants. Shweta tells Avinash that he needs to clarify her status in the house. She has sinndoor and a mangalsutra in the thari. Avinash gets more irritated when he hears this.

He looks at Shweta disbelieving. Shweta goes on that she loves him and wants to have the status of a wife, his wife, in the family. Avinash explains to her that he cannot give her this. He helped her out by letting her stay in the house, but she can never be his wife. He tells her he even gave Megha's property to Mantra. Shweta insists that he marry her, Avinash tells her he will show her the reason he can't marry her and drags her to Rimjhim's room.

Avinash sits by Rimjhim's bedside. He tells Shweta that Rimjhim is in this state today because of him. For 20 years, Rimjhim dedicated herself and her life to serving him and his family. He loves Rimjhim only and no-one else will ever be able to take the place in his heart he has given to Rimjhim. Shweta is getting angrier and angrier but Avinash tells her in no uncertain terms that he will never marry her and leave Rimjhim.

Avinash leaves and Amba comes in. Rimjhim gets up and taunts Shweta that she is unable to do anything now. Shweta laughs and reminds Rimjhim and Amba that she has the proof of Megha's identity. She tells Rimjhim that she will never be able to bring Megha back into the house because of her.

Rimjhim's face falls. Shweta leaves and Rimjhim and Amba discuss about the file. Rimjhim tells Amba how Shweta got the file when Megha fainted. She describes the file to Amba. Amba gets an idea (Idea no. 440) and leaves quickly to find Isha.

Isha and Amba go to meet Megha. Amba has brought a whole lot of files with her. She asks Megha to identify which file is closest to her medical file. Megha is perplexed as to why Amba is asking her, but complies. She then gives Isha instructions on how the file looked, the illustration on the cover. Isha draws everything onto the file and creates a duplicate file.

Amba returns to the house. She goes to Shweta's room and ransacks it as part of her plan 440. She scatters all Shweta's stuff and then leaves.

Shweta comes to her room. She sees it ransacked and smiles to herself. She goes to Rimjhim's room and meets Rimjhim and Amba. She taunts them that they are very inexperienced at these games. She says she would never think to keep the file in her room. Amba then mentions that the colour of the file is red. Shweta looks a bit concerned now and wonders how they know the colour of the file.

Shweta continues that there is no way they got the file. Amba then goes to the cupboard and takes out her duplicate file. She flashes it at Shweta. Shweta is dumbfounded. She wonders aloud how Garv could do this to her. Rimjhim is shocked when she hears Garv's name.

Preview: Garv is walking on a path. Shweta is in a car, ready to run him over.

24 October

Recap: Amba hatches a plan to get Megha's file back. She and Rimjhim trick Shweta into revealing that Garv is holding the original file.

Update:

Shweta is furious that Garv betrayed her in this way. Amba and Rimjhim decide they need to confront Garv to get the file. Rimjhim calls Garv and arranges to meet with him. Shweta overhears their conversation and decides to go to the place and kill Garv.

Shweta is sitting in her car waiting for Garv. She wonders if she is too late. She thinks that maybe Garv rejected Rimjhim, but says that Rimjhim is very cunning and she needs to handle the situation.

Garv then arrives at the place to meet Rimjhim. Its a vast expanse of land on a cliff almost. Garv and Rimjhim come face with face. Rimjhim questions him as to why he abandoned Megha when she is pregnant with their child. Garv says he doesn't need her anymore, he has always loved Isha. Rimjhim makes an impassioned plea to him. She tells him that indeed Megha was wrong in her deeds, but Garv is now the same as her. Garv is trying to procure Isha in the same way Megha tried to procure Garv. While they are talking, Shweta sneaks into the bushes and eavesdrops on their conversation.

Garv still says he hates Megha for taking Isha away from him. Rimjhim reminds him that Isha is now Vicky's wife. She tells Garv she is not asking for him to accept Megha, all she wants is for him to give Megha her identity back. Garv finally tells Rimjhim that he'll think about what she said and decide whether to give her the file. He then leaves. Shweta is not pleased to hear this, she runs back to her car.

In her car, Shweta waits for Garv to walk onto the path, she then puts her car into gear and heads straight for him. Rimjhim is about to start walking down, she is stunned to see this unfolding (strangely Garv's reaction is not even shown).

Suddenly Shweta stops her car. Amba is in the backseat of her car, and is holding her huge knife to Shweta's neck. Shweta is terrified. She insults Shweta for what she was about to do and threatens to cut her head off. She warns Shweta never to try to kill someone again and leaves.

Shweta is furious. She says that Amba made a huge mistake by keeping her alive. Shweta calls up Avinash. Avinash asks her where she is. Shweta tells him that he should be more worried about where Rimjhim is. She then starts her tirade that Rimjhim is fine, and playing a game with them. Avinash gets very angry with her and tells her she is the one who is crazy. Shweta tells him to check Rimjhim's room, she is on her way home. She says that today everyone will be forced to believe her.

At the house, Avinash goes to Rimjhim's room and sees she is not there. He sees the wheelchair is still there and wonders where she could have gone to. He runs around the house looking for her, calling her name. He goes to Babuji and asks him if he's seen Rimjhim. Babuji gets concerned and also starts looking.

Rakesh, Kaveri, Bua, Jayanti, Babuji and Avinash gather in the living room. Avinash tells them Rimjhim is missing and Shweta says her insanity is an act. Babuji gets furious with Avinash and says that they should not believe just anyone and doubt Rimjhim again (). Bua also agrees with Babuji and says that Shweta may be lying

At this time, Shweta enters the house. She says that she is not lying. She challenges everyone to find Rimjhim in the house as she knows she is not there. Vicky and Isha arrive. Vicky says that Shweta is lying. He tells everyone that Rimjhim and Amba are praying in the temple. Avinash motions to go to the temple but Vicky says Amba asked not to be disturbed.

Shweta laughs and says that Vicky is telling a lie to protect Rimjhim, and that Rimjhim is indeed not in the house. Avinash tells Vicky to move out of his way, he needs to find out once and for all who is telling the truth, Shweta or Rimjhim. They all leave for the temple.

Shweta goes marching through the door first, followed closely by Avinash. She stops in her tracks, and everyone looks shocked.

Preview: Shweta is dousing Rimjhim with petrol. Amba comes there and lights the match.

25 October

Awesome episode - finally Shweta revealed everything that she did!

Recap: Rimjhim met with Garv to try and convince him to return Megha's identity file. Garv agrees to think about it. Shweta tries to finish Garv off, but Amba stops her in her tracks. Shweta causes trouble for Rimjhim at home.

Update:

Shweta bursts into the prayer room with everyone on her heels. She's stunned to see both Rimjhim and Amba there praying. Shweta is thunderstruck. Avinash gets very angry seeing this. He chides Shweta for once again causing unnecessary trouble. He tells her he thinks she is mad, not Rimjhim. Babuji is also angry - he tells Shweta that Rimjhim is the honour of their family and could never do such a thing. They all leave angrily. Shweta tries to explain, but to no avail.

Rimjhim and Amba then tackle Shweta. Rimjhim tells Shweta that her plans will never come to fruition. She is still loved by the entire family and is the family's daughter-in-law. Shweta's dream of being Avinash's wife and the family daughter-in-law will never happen. Shweta is left stewing as Rimjhim and Amba leave.

In Rimjhim's room, Amba gets a call from her village. Someone who is pregnant is having some complications. Amba has to go back to sort the problem out. Rimjhim is alarmed about being left alone to deal with Shweta. Amba reassures Rimjhim that Shweta is finished, she's all alone and disillusioned after they embarrassed her and will never try something. Amba promises to be back by the evening. Rimjhim reluctantly agrees. Shweta was standing at the door and heard everything. ( I think it was a plan).

Shweta goes to her bedroom. She has flashbacks of Babuji and Avinash telling her off, and what Amba said about her being finished. She says to herself that Amba doesn't know her well enough. She decides that she will kill Rimjhim and by the time Amba returns it will be too late and Rimjhim will already be dead.

Shweta goes to Rimjhim's room with a 5l bottle of petrol. She says that she should have finished Rimjhim off a long time ago. She says that setting her own dress on fire was a mistake but she will now set Rimjhim on fire. She starts dousing Rimjhim and the bed with petrol. She challenges Rimjhim to do or say something as she is about to die. Rimjhim keeps sitting mum. She is now saturated.

Shweta throws the bottle and tries to light the match. AT this time, Amba appears at the doorway. She is stunned to see what Shweta is doing. She rushes into the room, and takes the matches from Shweta. She tells Shweta that she will do her work and Amba sets the bed on fire. Shweta gets extremely alarmed.

Amba starts screaming for Avinash and Vicky. Avinash, Vicky and Rakesh arrive. They are stunned to see Rimjhim's bed on fire. They rush out. The rest of the family all arrive. Amba is creating a huge scene. Babuji tries to put the flames out with his walking stick. Finally Vicky, Avinash and Rakesh arrive with blankets and put out the fire. Amba tells everyone that Shweta tried to kill Rimjhim and set the place on fire. Shweta denies it, saying that Amba did it. Amba tells everyone that she has no reason to harm Rimjhim, but Shweta wants her dead.

Shweta tries desperately to defend herself. She says Rimjhim is just pretending to be mad and is absolutely fine. She then says that Rimjhim is doing this for revenge, because Shweta set her own pallu on fire and blamed Rimjhim. Shweta says she wanted to drive Rimjhim out of the house to get Avinash for herself. She starts confessing to all her misdeeds, that she put Rimjhim in the asylum even though she was sane, that she turned Megha into Koyal, that she drove Megha out of the house. She now challenges Rimjhim to say something. Rimjhim turns and smiles.

Shweta is triumphant, she screams to everyone that she was right and Rimjhim is not mad. Suddenly it dawns on her that she confessed everything, she is stunned. The rest of the family are flabbergasted by what they just heard.

Preview: A whole gang of cops arrive in the house. The family come out to meet them and Babuji asks them what they came for.

26 October

Recap: Shweta is once again shown up by Rimjhim and Amba. She's furious and decides to set Rimjhim on fire. She then confesses to everything she's done.

Update:

Everyone is standing thunderstruck in Rimjhim's room. They can't believe what Shweta did. Avinash tells Shweta that she cannot remain in the house for another second. He grabs her hand and drags her out of the house. He throws her outside, and tells her never to step into the house again. Shweta tries to defend herself and blame Rimjhim, but Avinash tells her never to take Rimjhim's name with her dirty mouth again.

He warns her never to bother them again and leaves. Shweta vows that she will return to the house.

Rimjhim is acting normal again and is downstairs with the rest of the family. Everyone is unburdening their guilt over how they treated Rimjhim. Babuji apologises for whatever he did and told her and for not believing her. Rimjhim asks him not to embarass her and apologise.

Avinash then speaks about how he caused Rimjhim such grief and pain and is so embarassed and ashamed of himself. Rimjhim apologises to them for having to pretend to be mad to get the truth revealed. Yashoda then also apologises to Rimjhim for not believing her.

Amba is happy hearing all this, but asks them if they are ready to accept Megha back. She calls Megha and she comes into the house. Megha takes everyone's blessings. Irawati is then wheeled in by Khan. Babuji tells her she came at the right time and tells her that Koyal is Megha. They are remorseful for not recognising Megha but everyone is now happy.

In their bedroom, Rimjhim and Avinash are talking. Avinash is telling Rimjhim that as her husband, his biggest responsibility was to keep her happy, but he has given her so much grief. He says he is ashamed to look at his reflection as he has doubted Rimjhim. Rimjhim tells him she had full faith in Gopalji not to seperate her from her family. Avinash promises her that in the future he will never doubt her and will always support her. Megha comes into the room. She sees them together and wants to leave, but Rimjhim calls her back. Avinash hugs the both of them.

Megha goes to Amba's room to find her packing. She pleads with Amba not to go, but Amba says her work is done and she needs to return to her own home. Megha is very sad but she helps Amba pack her stuff.

Downstairs, everyone is happily having dinner. Rimjhim is serving everyone as usual. Babuji is thrilled - Rimjhim is stuffing him up with various fries. He says he has eaten to his full and is still eating more, for the first time. Irawati jokingly asks him if they didn't take good enough care of him. Babuji laughs and says that it is not the case, he was longing to eat food cooked by Rimjhim.

Amba comes there with Megha and her bag. Rimjhim asks her what she is doing. Amba tells them she is going and she is taking Rimjhim with her. Babuji is alarmed, he apologises to Amba on behalf of the family and promises they will respect and care for Rimjhim better from now on. Amba is happy. Babuji asks her to have dinner with them before she leaves.

Amba is leaving. She and Rimjhim are holding each other and crying. They are recalling how Amba saved Rimjhim from the asylum and all their happy moments together. Rimjhim pleads with Amba to stay with them as she regards her as a sister. Amba refuses, and starts to leave. She teases Maharaj one last time, picks up her bag and leaves. Everyone is sad seeing her going. She turns around and looks at all of them and leaves.

The next morning, everyone is together in the prayer room. Babuji is doing the arti. He thanks Gopalji for bringing the family together and prays that they always remain as happy as they are now. While they are praying, several cars pull up in their driveway. The first two are police cars. Three lawyers carrying documents and the police enter the house. Everyone is coming downstairs happily. Rimjhim and Babuji are first to see them.

Babuji asks them what they are doing in the house. One of the lawyers tells them they will have to vacate the house immediately. Everyone's shocked. Babuji says thats nonsense as they own the house. The lawyer says that the house has a new owner. Babuji gets angry and says the house is theirs, they had it built. As they are talking, a woman alights from the one of the cars. (I recognised her instantly from her horrid white sandals).

The woman starts walking through the door into the house. Her face is not clear at first, but she comes in front of everyone and declares she is the owner of the house. Its revealed to be Shweta! Rimjhim is stunned.

27 October

Recap: Shweta's evil deeds are revealed. She is thrown out of the house by Avinash, Amba leaves. Shweta arrives at the house with some lawyers claiming the house is hers.

Update:

Everyone is stunned that Shweta is the owner of the house. They all think it is another one of Shweta's ploys. Shweta acts innocent, but proves to them that the house is hers.

Shweta tells the lawyers that she has no problem with anyone but Rimjhim, she says that if Rimjhim leaves the house everyone else can remain and have their full rights.

Babuji is furious. He states that they will never abandon Rimjhim and stay. He decides that the family will move back to Sukh Shanti Sadan. Rakesh is not happy about this but everyone is forced to leave.

Shweta catches on that Rakesh is upset. She tries to entice him to stay, saying she will give him full rights if he stays. He refuses her and leaves.

The family pack up all their luggage and get into taxis. Its a very sad moment.

Update – 28 October


Recap: Shweta claims she is the rightful owner of the house. She says her problem is with Rimjhim and if Rimjhim leaves everyone else can stay. Babuji decides then and there to leave.


Update:


The family pull up in about 6 taxis in the driveway of Sukh Shanti Sadan. Everyone experiences flashbacks of good times there (Rimjhim doing arti, Yashoda and Rakesh enjoying a tender moment, Babuji pensive). Babuji leads everyone up the steps towards the entrance. He is very happy to be back, he says the words reflect who he is. He tells the family that they have neglected the house and they should now make it fit for them to live there again.


Everyone gets working, Jayanti, Rakesh, Rimjhim, Yashoda. They are scrubbing the doors, cleaning the furniture and dusting everywhere. Megha comes around and offers everyone juice. The house is looking spick and span again.


The next morning Babuji is watering the garden. Rimjhim comes and gives him his famous masala tea. He is very happy. Rimjhim feels bad that because of her everyone had to leave the other house and come live here. Babuji consoles her saying he is happier now than he has ever been before. Rimjhim is not convinced.


Isha is busy tidying her room. Vicky comes from behind and grabs her. They share a romantic moment, Vicky asks Isha if she is happy here. Isha replies she is very happy, and that she will be happy wherever they stay as long as Vicky is with her and he is her greatest happiness. Vicky is touched. He tells Isha that they should go out for dinner tomorrow night. Isha refuses saying that tomorrow is Karva Chauth and she will be fasting. Vicky agrees saying it is Sindoor day. He says he will also observe a fast and not eat or drink anything until he looks at his moon (Isha). They both are happy.


Rimjhim and Megha are sitting on the lawn, Rimjhim is busy peeling some vegetables. Megha asks Rimjhim if only married women can fast on Karva Chauth. Rimjhim says no, that unmarried girls can also observe the fast and pray for a good husband. Jayanti comes from behind. She asks Megha why she is asking these questions as she is both married and unmarried. Rimjhim gets angry and asks Jayanti why she is saying such things.


Jayanti says it is Rimjhim who forced her to say this. She says that Megha cannot observe the Karva Chauth fast as she is not pure. Poor Megha has tears running down her cheeks. Jayanti leaves happily and Rimjhim is upset.


Down on the beach, Rimjhim meets with Garv. She again questions him why he is doing this to Megha. Rimjhim tells him she is sick of Megha being taunted by people. Garv tells Rimjhim he is sorry for the situation but cannot do anything as he loves Isha. He says he will apologise to everyone but that is all he can do. Rimjhijm tells him that is of no use. He advises her to get the child aborted. He leaves Rimjhim shocked.


The next morning, Rimjhim is doing prayers outside. Shweta arrives. She and Rimjhim have an argument., where Shweta tells Rimjhim she will only be satisfied when Rimjhim is thrown out. Shweta then tells Rimjhim she is observing the Karva Chauth fast and will be coming to the house in the evening for her husband Avinash to break her fast. Rimjhim just looks amused. Shweta tells her that Avinash put sinndoor in her maang and she will certainly fulfil the Karva Chauth vow. Shweta leaves and Rimjhim is worried.


Preview: The Karva Chauth rituals are going on. Shweta arrives, dressed to the nines, with a tray in her hand.

31 October

Recap: Shweta comes to the house and tells Rimjhim she will be coming in the evening for Karva Chauth.

Update:

Rimjhim is standing dumbstruck at Shweta's words. Shweta walks away. Isha has heard everything. She comes to Rimjhim and angrily tells her that Shweta will cause more trouble. Rimjhim is not worried and consoles Isha.

The preparations for Karva Chauth are in full swing. Babuji sneaks into the kitchen to steal some sweetmeats. Maharaj catches him out and calls Irawati. Babuji tries to lie and defend himself but Irawati catches on. She warns him that he is not allowed to eat any sweet stuff.

All the ladies in the house are performing their rituals. They are sitting in a circle. Each one has a tray with a sari in front of them. They pass it to Irawati, receive her blessings and take their trays back with them.

The men of the house are deliberating over how to raise money. Avinash decides to approach a former associate, Mr. Mehta for a loan. Babuji agrees, and Rakesh and Avinash leave to meet Mr. Mehta.

They arrive at his offices and request an appointment. After keeping them waiting for a very long time, Mr. Mehta finally sees them. Avinash asks for a loan as they are experiencing financial problems at the moment. MR. Mehta agrees to the loan as they have helped him in the past during troublesome times. Avinash is very happy. Mr. Mehta asks for a day or two to arrange the cheque with his accounts department. Avinash and Rakesh are leaving when Mr. Mehta receives a call.

He motions for them to stay, as he gets some bad news over the phone. He hangs up and tells them he is unable to give them the loan. Avinash gets angry but Mr. Mehta says he cannot tell them the reason and asks them to leave.

Someone emerges from a corridor. It is Shweta. Avinash has stormed off, but Rakesh is caught by Shweta. She feels sorry that he is going through some trauma and offers him financial help. Rakesh walks away.

At home, the Karva Chauth rituals are still being performed. All the ladies are looking at the moon and their husbands' faces. Megha is also standing there, as each ritual is performed she imagines she is doing the same with Garv.

The wives then put a tikka on their husbands' foreheads. The husbands then give their wives water to break their fast. As Avinash is giving Rimjhim her water, he sees Shweta arriving. She marches down towards them.
