There is a sudden change in Deepika's body language and attitude towards Shree which is clearly noticable. Slowly distancing yourself from some-one is okay but abrupt changes in behaviour speak volumes about someones character and how confident they are in their stands.

As to saving Shree from nominations today, Deepi did not have too many options. She is against Shristi and Jas. Moreover she has a fake image to uphold.
