Who knows...those arrangements may have been made by Pooja and there may not have been more of it later in their marriage. After all, aren't the writers trying to show the difference between the two marriages and the kind of efforts Adi is willing to put in here for Zoya's sake, something he didn't do for Pooja?

As much as i absolutely love Adi and the way he treats Zoya, I dont think we can deny that he wasn't an amazing husband for Pooja (dont throw chappals at me pls!!😆)

The problem with AdiJa relation was communication gap and there is no denying that Adi took Pooja for granted. Had Adi realised what he was doing, am sure he would have mended his ways but Pooja never made a strong attempt to point that out to Adi. Pooja did try to express her disappointment but she never asserted it on him which was a mistake on her part. Being his best friend she had the right to yell at him n tell him outright things are not working out but Pooja was only too busy trying to be the perfect wife for Adi. She suppressed her feelings for a long time n this is where she went wrong. Because when it finally burst, it broke their relationship. Adi was not ready for fatherhood but she desperately craved for a child. What was wrong on her part was to expect Adi to share the same enthusiasm as her. Adi was unprepared, so naturally it came as a shock to him but as Pooja herself told Yash later on, Adi would have made a great dad. Adi would have accepted the baby, if only Pooja had been clear to Adi about what she wanted in life. Adi would never have forced her to abort the baby just coz he wasn't keen on becoming a father.

Pooja's definition of passion n romance is above our understanding.

This is not to say Adi never loved Pooja - of course he did but he was not responsible for all the horrible things Sakshi accused him of. He was not responsible for the death of his unborn child and he did love Pooja enough to give her 5 cr just like that without questioning her. He loved her enough to respect and love her mother like his own n wish Pooja had considered all this before dismissing him as a bad husband.
