Have said it time and again that to show Nandini as this mahan woman, they are being unrealistic with Kunal and Mauli.

Nandini to Kunal - I won't keep a father from the baby, especially a father like Kunal, who would definitely be the best father in the world.


So Nandini says this then tells Radhika - I will return Kunal, I won't keep a father from a child


If and If Kunal is that good a man, that good a father wouldn't he choose to be a part of his baby's life himself? We have to follow a few things -
1 Kunal doesn't love Mauli, he loves Nandini more than his child

2 Kunal is still a good father, because who wouldn't love female lead more than his child

3 Even though he is a good father, Nandini knows he won't go back for his baby, still the best father, he would go back because Nandini asked him to take his responsibility.

Finally, he is a good father, KuNan love is pure and Nandini is mahan

Only nuisance is Mauli, who took Kunal back. They showed Kunal insulting her time and again but the woman took him back, just like that

Here if you have noticed they haven't given a single scene of Mauli bonding with her baby, remember there was a scene when Nandini was pregnant, she was speaking with her child. But they won't give this scene to Mauli.

End result is that kunal and Mauli do not care about their child, Nandini is the only one worried about Mauli's baby. Mind you Mauli's baby is a grahan for her but this self sacrificing woman is doing so much for a grahan and ashubh saaya.
