Why are CVs so rigid?

Am I the only one who can see absolute disgust from everyone who's watching the show to KuNan on each and every platform? Then why are CVs so rigid in trying to show Nandini as mahan and their love as pure and true?

The show got 0.9 TRP and I have noticed in each and every show where they glorify EMA, they lose TRP. Isn't it understandable that TRP audience are women? If you are going to show men cheating on women and you are going to show that wife being cheated was right because "It was just friendship" then what makes them think that TRP audience will love it? These are mostly married women, who love their husbands and most of them will beat their husbands and his mistress with jhadu if they cheat on their wives (I don't support violence).This is not reality, most of the affairs are about lust, they are not about true love and the only one who suffers in this is the wife and her kids.

Why most of the time it's two women loving and fighting over or crying over men like Kunal? Why can't a woman fall out of love with her husband?

Wouldn't you like a plot in which Kunal stays with Mauli for the baby and she keeps him away from her, then she finds a good man and she falls in love with him? This is also EMA and somewhat more understandable and acceptable because she was already in a bad relationship

The point is why can't they see that we don't like KuNan, we don't want "Nandini sacrificed her love for Mauli". Nandini can die, I don't care about he, just give us Mauli's journey.

Even VJ Andy tweeted that makers are favoring abusers, so I guess whitewashing is being registered by everyone

Yes, all the neutral viewers find Kunan scenes disgusting...

And I told earlier too, none started watching the show for Aditi.. she won hearts.. with her character n acting...

Kunal n Nandini fails big time...

I think they're trying to keep it realistic. As in, they don't want the audience to think that they're showing pure 'white' characters. The fact that they're devoid of guilt tells us that they're very grey.

I think it's all about what they wanted to show from the start. Maybe their plan was to show a complex relationship which emerged out of complex feelings between Kunan. From the start they have made it clear that Kunan and their feelings aren't wrong and they expected the audience to take it that way...

look like during Diwali mauli and Kunal will unite and by during Diwali mauli will also forgive Nandini

no divorce will happen and all three will unite again forgetting all bitterness during Diwali Pooja but that doesn't mean cvs will show bigamy

No mauli kunal should not unite and mauli should never forgive nandini.It is not a small fight or something that they will forget everything and unite.

But kunal doesn't want to unite with mauli and nandini's sacrifice is on/off when it comes to jazzbatt for kunal. So how mauli kunal will unite on Diwali ?

TRP of the whole ITV has gone down because of Navratri. Also, compare to other Colors shows, Silsila has only gone down by 0.1 The other shows have gone down by 0.2 to 0.4. Look at Anarkali, Roop, Internet-wala love and BP. They come in almost prime time-slots. Anarkali has only 1.2 whereas the other shows IWL, Roop and BP is 1.0. If I was the channel head, I would worry about these slots than Silsila.

Also the whole date scene is for TRP. They are cashing on the whole promo that they did last week and are hoping that DD and Shakti fans would watch the show today, and most will. Most of the audience supports Mauli but do not watch the show and keep declaring it on SM. So, PH is now using their weapon, Shakti's and DD's popularity to get TRP. In the end, its all about TRP.

I am sorry to say if Shakti and DD could bring trp then trp of first week would have been over 2, for example - Bepanah though dwindle afterwards, it was at #5 in first week and in top 10 for several weeks after it. I think there Jennifer and Harshad's popularity helped, but as the story was nothing more than your everyday romance, it is now out of top 20. I have said it before that just like an SRK movie will do record breaking collection on day one then be a flop after bad WOM, the star power helps the pilot of a show, if the story is bad nothing will help it.

PS : DD and Shakti fans are watching obviously but the TRP comes from data of roughly 30k households, where they monitor what these particular people are watching, it's like a survey. So if they are not part of BARC survey, they won't help with TRP.

She didn't get many scenes to showcase her talent but it was understood from the beginning that this one is a powerhouse, what I did not or let's take the liberty to say that what makers and even Aditi did not anticipate the response she got after confrontation scene. I remember many people were commenting that they watched the scene after seeing people talk about it. Only if CVs could have used the momentum they got back then, even now it's Mauli, that has me hooked to the show . She is brilliance.


@Krystal - There was fire test on the show and the only thing which died in it was reality.

@Luv_Pariansh It is understood from the Tagline and the divine element, that they wanted to show this pure (Read - Pukeworthy) love. I believe lust angle at first and love afterwards would have been a more mature story for me. Sex is still a taboo but there was this show Downton Abbey, the protagonist, Lady Mary was courted by this gentleman. She asked him to spend a few day and night with her so she can be sure that she will be as happy in her 2nd marriage as she was in her first and that involves sex. People do say Kunal and Nandini are grey or multi dimensional characters but all I see is two people acting like they hit puberty yesterday and world will end tomorrow.

@Surbhi - I don't want Mauli to forgive either of them and if she does, I don't want her to live with them. I want her to give them forgiveness as wedding gift.
