Well i am not good at episode analysis as Nish is, but here are my views.
First of all i think they are over dramatizing the fear factor of these ladies. Where Amrit and Beeji are concerned its fine, but cant really associate it with the 3 girls as they have gone to study outside the home, and therefore should have familiarity with the outside world, if not a lot atleast some.
Next the 4 ladies to go find Balraj - they ask a passerby and the Dhabawala about a silver car, without giving the make or the no. of the car. They just ask about a silver car.
However once they find the car and know its been in an accident, identified the dead body as the drivers, and all this accomplished in the morning (daylight), they should have searched for Bali in the hospitals.
They never showed the cops a pic of Bali so that the police could search for him, how do they expect the police to search for their Papa.
