This brings up the topic of the evil spirit that Pia is supposed to defeat. It is easily assumed that the spirit is Mohana but what if she's not? What if Mohana is the pawn in the bigger scheme of things? What if she becomes just like Loki sacrificing her life in order to keep Ansh and Kajol (probably but Mohana and Ved seem to prefer Ansh)? What if the real storyline was showing that people or dayaans change? Also, I think that would be an interesting twist because Mohana is the main antagonist/villain of the story but forcing her to side with the good side in order to save her children would make the plot better. PLUS I want Pia and Mohana to team up, considering how powerful they both are... :)
