Lets hope. wait. and pray that this new storyline lives up to its original story. and hope that it does not let us down. we are faithful dulhann viewers, and i know, no matter how the show goes we are still gonna watch it, just for the sake of SD. Lets keep our fingers crossed and be patient (I know I can't be lol, but am tryn to) and see what it has to offer. I feel it'll be best if we welcome (or at least try to, I know its hard) this new storyline on a positive note, so that we'll at least have something to look forward to; and who knows, the story now might exceed our expectations (I know I'm thinking too far now). But I'm just tryn to be positive. I really hope it gets back its charm, and does not let us down. I know...SD are doing and going to do full justice to their respective roles. Their jodi is just soo amazing, along with their acting abilities, that makes me feel that they are going to take this new story to great heights! Lets just hope for the best! 😃

Not only SD but the creatives are the same too. They know what the audience want and they have all promised us a GREAT track, why not wait for it?? Abhi toh love story shuru bhi nahin hui. Nishi, you agree na that Dulhan has been unique because of SVs romance??? Toh tu phir wait kar, Im sure AD will make our heart melt again! 😳

i think what made this serial unique was the onscreen bonding between sharad malhotra & divyanka tripathi.😊

they made the characters sagar & vidya come alive before our very eyes & made us laugh, cry, curse & fantasise. these 2 actors are now taking on new roles of amar & divya. i don't think their onscreen bonding will be any less intense nor will their chemistry be affected just because they play different characters.😊 like reemu said, we just have to fall in love with them all over again.

having said that, i do miss my darling vidya still. just a teeny tiny bit. after all divyanka epitomised the role of vidya to such a great extent that i can't help but miss her.😔

I loved the old dulhann track because it wasn't one of the typical sas-bahu stories. It had a ton of shortcomings but it was unique. This uneducated girl from a really small town who is the epitome of truthfulness and innocence is thrown into this cruel situation in an unknown environment and city where her husband is mentally challenged and his family members were constantly plotting and scheming against her and her husband. She never gave up. She fought against all odds. Cured her husband, won his love and almost nullified all the evil plans of the most conniving villain in the history of the tellyworld.

I completely agreed with your ENTIRE post! One thing that really pisses me off is the fact that Sagaar and Vidya died only to be reborn again but Sindora got away with so much. Even if she gets punished at the end, who cares? She still lived 21 years after the crime to do whatever it is that she wanted to. When you are old and you get punished for your crime of murder, does it really matter then? It would have been more nice and realistic had they just ended the track when the lovebirds got proof against her. The storyline still would have been original or unique at least. I'm sure this new track with the new looks will be interesting to watch since the writers want to keep dragging the storyline but the original track was still MUCH BETTER!

you're right about one thing, no serial stays true to its title or its main crux for long.

But at one point in time or another, it has to go back to its original meaning.
And it will, BMTD will go back to its original meaning and even its uniqueness once Divya and Amar fall in love and remember thier past.

Although from start, BMTD's unique factor was always its two main actors. It is these two who really really brought out BMTD's uniqueness and as long as SD are in, you can count on it staying unique 😊

I do want to say that last week and this week my whole family miss both sagar and vidya, without them Dulhan is so boring!

Well, both SD have said that the new track will be even more entertaining - let's wait and see!
