My 2 Cents on MAULI

these are my views on the charcaters and the happenings

when such things happen initially ppl will be broken later they will be in a denial and then they will be thinking about forgiving and forgetting the things and set everything as earlier as they will not be able to take the pain. (its a kind of escape from the present situation) then when they realise the truth they break everything and move on.

Mauli is going through these phases one by one.

Initially she bursted in pain and anger. later she was in denial of the things and then when the pain and reality started to sink in completely into her she wasnt able to handle it and wanted everything like earlier. that feeling that if she makes an effort may be everything might fall in place like the past made her give into for the requests of dida and radhika and that feeling to escape from all the pain she is going thru made her ask nandini for kunal.

mauli is not weak its general human tendency. the way she ran to airport thinking that kunal was leaving and her acceptance that she cant live without him shows her love. that doesnt means she is not angry at him or has forgiven but a thought that if she accepts him or forgets the mishappenings, things might fall in place and may be everything will be like earlier, made her do so. just think a lady who was strong enuf to file a divorce without asking anyone has went to ask the same person who cheated on her for another chance. this is becoz of the change of feelings with time.

here dida and radhika represent the society and families who keep on pushing the ppl to accept the circumstances and give it a chance. frankly many ppl do try to give a chance and there might be cases where ppl might have compromised and started their life fresh again and there might be ppl who might have realised that there is nothing left between them to reconcile. this push is given either for a proper start or a complete closure. though i dont believe in this fresh starts but this will definitely help in giving closures. just like the dida's and radhika's push has given a closure to mauli's doubt that things can be like before between her and kunal.

Now mauli gave a chance on dida's insistance but she got answer to her confusion of "may be I should have given a try". she realised that there is no scope for reconcile. now she has reached the final stage of complete acceptance. Mauli realised that she and kunal can never be the same and its all over between them atleast from his side. Her efforts will not hav any effect on him. Now she will break all her confusions, thoughts and chances and move ahead with her own decisions.

the way dida and radhika are pushing mauli to say kunal about the baby is looking so stupid for me and amny of us but thats the reality of the society they consider the baby as a solution and a binder of a broken marriage. this is becoz dida and radhika are ppl who were grown in that type of society who strongly feel that a baby needs mom and dad for sure no matter how their relation is. but im sure mauli doesnt believe in it. like she said earlier she is capable enuf to raise her kid and give the baby all the love she deseves. mauli is thinking abt teh future of the baby if she grows up amongst a loveless marriage. but dida and radhika cant see that.

but i feel the way radhika slapped and said kunal that she cant see him insulting her bahu says that if she finds kunal still has no soft corner for mauli or the baby she will push him away from mauli and support mauli for sure.

these are my points on mauli's chances and dida's and radhika's constant efforts

Yes, Mauli till now has been hurt as a wife, but if she tells him about the baby & he rejects that too, then this time it would be mother in her that would be terribly hurt & the child in the womb too will be hurt. That would be much worse. I don't know why Radhika-Dida are pushing the mother in Mauli to get hurt.

It's like if a child is born, then she would have to tell him/her that their father chose his lover over them. Kunal's child hating him would be a good punishment for his juzzbaat.

With time, Mauli's motherly instinct would get much more stronger than any other trait of womanhood in her, if she doesn't miscarry.

Infact these situations are helping her to take a firm decision . I am glad kunals true face is out in open and dida and radhika also know . Let her be firm on her decision to keep her pregnancy as a secret and take divorce from kunal because the.child also doesnt deserve a father like kunal . Then she can also say i never wanted to hide my pregnancy from you , i never intended to hurt you , please trust me . And do what she feels is best for her and the unborn baby.

exactly decisions cant be taken in a minute and even mauli cant forget kunal in a day. it takes time. but all these pushes from family and herself are chances to try to set everything as earlier but these efforts are only making mauli to realise that everything is over and she has to move on. these efforts are helping her on one side. had she not given these chances she might feel guilt of not giving a chance and that guilt will not allow her to move on..

i agree kunal doesnt deserve to be called as a father and if at all mauli decides to keep pregnancy as a secret i support her as it wud be more disgusting to see kunal rejecting his baby or accepting mauli for the sake of baby. kunal is just a sperm donor for mauli he is no where a father to the baby.
