Shiv is brahmin, his family does not even use onion, and he eats 80 eggs a day.

Is egg considered vegetarian in India?

He did not say that he eats 80 eggs a day. He said, to maintain his body he has to take in protein equivalent to 80 eggs a day.

Brahmins ( some ) do eat eggs and fish. South Indian GSB's & CSB's ( Deepika Padukone and Amrita Rao) come from this community. They are fish-eating Brahmins. Same goes for Bengali Brahmins. These Brahmin communities lived closed to the sea. This was their local food.

There are many Brahmin communities that have always been non-vegetarian like Kashmiri Pandit and Bengalis. They eat eggs and meat. Big deal. No point talking about casteism in this age.
