MeToo: Deepika Padukone's Live Love Laugh Foundation terminates Anirban Blah following sexual charges
Following the news of YRF terminating their business head for sexual harassment charges, Deepika Padukone's Live Laugh Love too has taken a strict action and has shown Anirban Blah the way to the door.
After the Yash Raj Films terminated their business head, Deepika Padukone's The Live Love Laugh Foundation terminates Anirban Blah. The foundation issued the official statement yesterday on it's official Twitter handle and wrote that the TLLL foundation has zero tolerance against sexual harassment, abuse or misconduct. The organization further mentioned that they stand with the victim and provide full support to them. With MeToo movement aggressively hitting the B-Town industry, many names have cropped up.
After being accused of harassing a woman, Anirban Das Blah, the founder of Kwan Entertainment which is one of the leading talent management companies, has been removed from his position of an advisory member from Deepika Padukone's The Live Laugh Laugh foundation. The sources close to the foundation revealed Pinkvilla yesterday that The foundation has decided to take Anirban's name off the board. There will most likely be an official comment on the same from the legal team."
However, the official statement later that, Anirban Das Blah has sent his resignation amidst the sexual harassment claims.
The reports of Anirban's termination came hand in hand with the rumours of his getting away from the country. The reports that he has already fled from India fearing his arrest are making a loud noise. The MeToo movement is going strong in the industry and every day new names are cropping up. Till now the prominent celebrities like Rajat Kapoor, Alok Nath, Kailash Kher, Sajid Khan and many others have cropped up.
