Yesterdays episode deserved a separate appreciation post..I was expecting someone to make it since no one did I am doing the honor..
The episode was very refreshing for an Indian TV serial.
First of all I loved the religious harmony they portrayed..Also happy that Manjeet is not over religious,Orthodox or sanskari like all ITV female leads..liked her friendly banter with the God, and also liked it when she apologized for visiting holy places only when she is in trouble,just like any of us. 😆..And her rating the boys just to pass time was a fresh change..why should boys have all the fun😆..And the most important thing Heroine finding the hero hot at first sight😉.that was definitely for the first time in Indian soap..now it will be her who is going to follow him and trouble him..a good welcome change indeed...In short Manjeet looked like a aaj ke zamane ki movie heroine rather than a TV serial heroine.
Now the most awaited part of the episode, 'the first meet'..wow,it was so hatke.. I don't know why but when Fawad said those sexist dialogue I didn't felt offended like I was supposed to be.M ay be because he looks like an interesting character,not just the typical arrogant ML.
The good thing about this show is we have 2 leads who can really act.Mahima was amazing in her last show RKC and I have watched Param in Ghulam and he was good..In most of the shows if one lead is good ,the other is wooden..But here we are blessed to get 2 fine performers as the lead.
I hope makers comes up with such fresh scenes rather than the typical trip-fall-catch romance.
