SILSILA BADALLTE RISHTON KA: SHOWS | Colors | 10.00 p.m to 10.30 p.m Monday to Friday

Silsilla...Badallte Rishton Ka is a sensitive yet dramatically told story of two modern, though very differently married couples. Kunal & Mauli have a beautiful marriage who love and support each other. Their life abruptly changes when Mauli's childhood friend Nandini enters their life. Nandini is a trophy wife to the arrogant and chauvinistic Rajdeep and is a victim of domestic violence. Kunal & Nandini's attraction grows into a passionate affair that shadows everything else and what follows is a complex yet real life tale of the tangle of love, friendship and marriage in modern times. The story explores and penetrates the facade of marital responsibility, extramarital guilt, and weaknesses of human bondage, its deceptions and self-delusions.

Marriage has at all times been an institution that demands many qualities from those who subscribe to it--love, trust, friendship, commitment...and so much more. Young people today don't want to settle for less, and so, many marriages also crumble when wrong choices are made.

Silsilla...Badallte Rishton Ka is a sensitive yet dramatically told story of two modern though very differently married couples. It showcases what happens when their paths cross, as the two women resurrect their childhood friendship and now want to better each other's lives.

While Kunal and Mauli's marriage is a marriage of equals who love and support each other through thick and thin, Mauli's friend Nandini is a trophy wife to the arrogant and chauvinistic Rajdeep and also a victim of domestic violence. Nandini has over the years lost all her confidence and is unhealthily dependent on Rajdeep, as she like scores of women even in our times, feel that they have nowhere to go, to escape from their husband's exploitation. But with the revival of her friendship with Mauli all that is about to change.

Mauli gives Nandini the strength to say no to Rajdeep...to learn to smile and to find purpose in life again, only none of the three lead characters of Kunal, Mauli and Nandini are at all prepared for what paths their lives would have to travel from here onwards.

Kunal and Nandini are hit by a tornado of feelings of attraction for each other-- which neither of them had ever wanted nor imagined in their wildest dreams. Try as they might, they cannot wish any of this away...and what follows is a complex yet real life tale of the tangle of love, friendship and marriage in modern times.

The situations that develop due to these emotions, now force the protagonists and the viewers to face several uncomfortable questions about modern relationships of today, where roles and expectations have altered so much. And where adultery raises its head ever so often, despite all couples dreading its entry into their lives.

Silsilla...Badallte Rishton Ka tackles this frightening yet fascinating phenomenon of adultery, in all its aspects. A dash of excitement for some, a fresh though frightening lease of life for another, a lifetime of pain for yet some others-adultery has pre-occupied the minds and in some cases the lives of many a married couple. And all of us have one or another clear posture to take when debating whether the entry of a third person is merely the symptom of a malaise in the marriage or is actually the very cause of its breakdown.

This story explores and yet breaks many conceptions about how, when and why an extra-marital affair happens as it realistically tells the tale of two couples in today's India, whose lives change forever with the entry of forbidden love.

main points-

1]k unal and Mauli's marriage is a marriage of equals who love and support each other through thick and thin,

2] whether the entry of a third person is merely the symptom of a malaise in the marriage or is actually the very cause of its breakdown.

3]Marriage has at all times been an institution that demands many qualities from those who subscribe to it--love, trust, friendship, commitment...and so much more. Young people today don't want to settle for less, and so, many marriages also crumble when wrong choices are made.

4]Mauli gives Nandini the strength to say no to Rajdeep...to learn to smile and to find purpose in life again, only none of the three lead characters of Kunal, Mauli and Nandini are at all prepared for what paths their lives would have to travel from here onwards.

p.s-- so story paned out as per original plot-
nandini back stabbing mouli despite she is saviour and kunal cheating mouli despite perfect marriage is part of original script..

the thing that stood out to me is that they are terming the connection between K & N as a 'strong attraction'...it's all about attraction here...they are not saying Kunal fell madly in love with Nandini...or Nandini found her soulmate in Kunal...if they wanted they could have said this...but they're calling it an attraction...and this is straight from the Production House itself...

As per cvs if this is just strong attraction than how kundini can be end game??? Few people in this forum always says that as per cvs these two are leads and end game. Synopsis is clearly mentioning that there is nothing like true love.

Promos were pretty much misleading. Adultery was always part of story as per synopsis. If adultery was always part of story than why they added divine signs with scenes??

I don't think so they ever said that kundini is lead and end game . After reading this synopsis now I become more sure about the same.

on Youtube Colors TV has their channel where they upload episodes...and under each episode there's a description of the show...where they term KuNan's relation as an addictive affair...it all sounds scandalous and lust, not pure or everlasting...i think the purity and rohaani elements are just CVs showing things from KN points of views ...idk now if the story will match up to their written descriptions...technically it should end with both realizing that it was nothing but a fatal attraction...admitting it, owning up to it, and separating
