Silsilla...Badallte Rishton Ka is a sensitive yet dramatically told story of two modern, though very differently married couples. While Kunal and Mauli's marriage is a marriage of equals who love and support each other through thick and thin, Mauli's friend Nandini is a trophy wife to the arrogant and chauvinistic Rajdeep and also a victim of domestic violence. Nandini has over the years lost all her confidence and is unhealthily dependent on Rajdeep, as she like scores of women even in our times, feel that they have nowhere to go, to escape from their husband's exploitation. But with the revival of her friendship with Mauli all that is about to change.
