Sameer has came a long way as a person in his life. Earlier he was not able to understand his mother and her situation. But now he knows that his mother loves him very much. May be more than anyone else in the world. But it is her situation that is prohibiting her to show it. Someway or other it is Naina's love only helped him in realizing his mother's love. May be that's why Munna said while persuading Naina to go to watch Beta film that the story is about Maa beta relationship and that story reminds sameer about their own story.

In some ways, neither of them tried to understand each other...Sameer always felt betrayed that his mother chose Rohan over him,and Vishakha was used to her children being incredibly obedient and well mannered.so she couldn't understand how to deal with Sameer.it was only during the Delhi track that they started understanding each other's situation.sameer promised Naina that he would make an effort to get along with his family,and Even vishakha could see the change in him, although she didn't know that it was because of Naina.
